Be aware of your surrondings. If you notice a droid near you, or a group all of a sudden changing weapons and armor get out of there.

Keep a speeder deed or 2 in your inventory =instant speeder (no 15 second delay)... nice for emergencies.

First off let me state that this is what works best for me, it might not for others.
I'm in a diffrent class when i come to how to gind jedi, but this is what works best for me. I have channel force and this is a must for this kind of grind. I'm 0143 on lightsaber. I have lotof low speed pearls (for right now it 3 -.49 speed in a third gen). I use the best speed crystals pearlsI have, but you have to have all buffs, dance musicin, and doctors. I have all my stats migrated to my mind. Keep a lot of brandy on you and vercupti (this is a must it give you an around 800-1200 to health action and mind). You'll need the vercupit if you get in trouble. At my levelI run giant baz nitch missions. Back when i use my low force cost first gen saber Icould bring in around 150K every 2 hours. Now thatI switched to a much faster 3 gen i can make any were from 250K to close to 300k in the same amount of time.
Some one said in a past post here that the ham regen was slow for channel force, they were wrong. It's not that slow and regens a lot faster than your force pool. You might have to channel force once per lair, but it will not take your ham down far enough to be a problem. When you finish off the lair channel force till your force bar is about full and drive to your next mission. By the time you get there your ham will be completly regened. I went from taking about 400 bf down to about 100 because I kill them a lot faster, even though I kill 3 to4 time as many creatures.
Like i said this is what works best for me, and just though that I would put it out there for others that it might work for also.

I think someone should compile lots of this tips into one main post, there is LOTS of good info scattered over the 4 pages. Maybe I will...if I can pull myself away from Jedi

6) stay buffed at all times if possible
7) to get rid of visibility you must not use your force powers and be logged in. Sit in your private house for a hour or so after every session to erode your visibility. (works for me)
8) if you see a BH and you aren't a master saber (or at least saber 4/0/4/4
9) force channel is invaluable.

10) you can and should wear bio engy'd clothing... anything that will provide dizzy/kd defeses and bleeding are great. we jedi have no innate defenses to melee, but saber toughness does protect you somewhat.
11) visit your local chef and get mind food and some +1000 to health and action food (name escapes me) pop it if you see a BH comming for you or are about to die
12) make friends with lots of doctors... they can save your ass and rez you if you do die... take note of any in the city you were just in to they can come help you.
13) hunting in a group of more than 2 isn't safe. the more people around you the more visibility. IF THEY ARE OTHER JEDI DOES NOT AFFECT VISIBILITY. proof?
14) if a shuttle of ST's suddenly lands near you, you are on the terminals and a BH will shortly follow (happened to me 3 times) YOU MUST HAVE BEEN A REBEL AND GOT SCANNED Actually im imperial... better luck next time
1) Do you get visibility for using powers around guildies or groupies? ONLY IF THEY ARE NON-JEDI once again where is your proof?
2) Do you get visibility with your robes on? NO, IT IS A MYTH who says?
3) Do you get visibility with your LS equiped but not out? NO, IT IS ANOTHER MYTH again... who says?
4) Do aggro npcs give visibility, such as jantas? ONLY IF YOU KILL THEM USING FORCE POWERS OR LIGHTSABER see below...
Oh and one more, how close to someone do you need to be to get visibility? JUST KILL A NPC OR PLAYER no... if you are in an npc's line of sight and are using force powers you gain visibility. ive hunted many times on yavin and endor both around and avoiding npc's... avoiding them gets me on the terminals ALOT less.

Here's how I hunt
I only wear my robe and bring out my LS when I am out in wilderness,
I Hot key my normal outfit incase anyone comes around I can pop it on real quick. TALK ABOUT PARANOIA
I hunt very close to a safe house... Somewere I can run and log out without being killed. WONDER IF JAMIE IS ON THE EXTREME PARANOIA
I group only with my pet so to get the Group bonus without getting vis points. FIND ANOTHER JEDI PLAYER ALSO I HUNT IN SOLO GROUPS NO VISIBILITY where is your proof of this? visibility is something that noone can really say yes or no on... no solid evidence exists for anything on it. i say what i have observed through testing.
I hunt out of an old player city that is about to Poof (not sure were I am going after it does poof)

0/0/1/0 Lightsaber, Novice Healer, Novice Enhancer, Novice Defender proof I had 3 Dark Jedi Knights killing everything except NPCs and we not have had any bounties for23 hours on a killing spree and we had lightsbaers equipped in a laggy Coronet and none of us dueled. Proof enough. I wear robes all the time. And, I play 23 hours a day 7 days a week I kill Jantas and Mokks with scythe in hand and wearing robes.ROBES DO NOT AFFECT VISIBILITY. You have to laugh at Jamie it is paranoia because it is people like you who say having robes and lightsabers equipped and people grouped which cause that paranoia. END OF DISCUSSION. People you cannot kill NPCs using Force Powers or Lightsabers or PvsP that is how you get on the terminals and you can group but solo group it is better and you get mor XP then with people. You group hunt I only group hunt with Jedi's and do not let anyone use force powers except for using lightsabers. I have Padawan over my head all the time. Does not affect BH Terminals. Kill NPCS you be on the terminals fast also PvsP and dueling. Beast and when you had BH marks probably when they had lightsaber TEF does not happen anymore.
actually 4-0-0-4 is quite sufficient. polearm sabers do damage to action pool... something easily regained through a simple stim.. mind is much harder to reaquire. Therefore one handed saber is the ideal for killing BH as they do mind damage.
actualy youneed 4/0/4/4 because you need 0/0/4/0 first for area attack before you do 0/0/4/4.
