Is there a way to avoid the bomb droids when you are in your house?
Apparently thre "Droid detection Device" is not just window dressing, they stop the bomb droids from entering the place.

ok i have gloves, hat and belt all are bio enhanced. But you guys are forgetting one major thing. Alot of bhs fight without armor because they are use to killing jedi that have no skills. For example most bhs have gotten in the habbit of killing jedi that were pre patch 9 which means you have a raw toon with no skills at all. Kind of helpless. The second gen of jedi, ie after patch 9 are starting thier jedi with skills already. ie tkm/master fencer. The bh is in for a rocking when they attack that.

This is a good point, most of us have some sort of melee for our template to help with protections. For me it's speed capped pike with uber loots, so I would love to fight a non-armored bh, hell even armored they are going quick with my poisons

Making a macro to don your armor and equip your melee profession is a good idea just incase you get your speeder disabled and need to do a knock down dizzy /peace pull out new speeder and /mountspeeder. I just hit alt +2 and F1 to start that transformation. Dont forget to add center macro in there also.

Some more advices:
1.Never wear ur saber, even closed unless hunting.Doesnt give visibility but anyone can just follow you and put you on terminals. Of course dont go over there with ur (Jedi N00b) title over ur head
2. Make ur char unsearcheable.
3. When hunting, while those boring moments, use the search button for bounty-hunters. Somedumbass BH wear their title and search goes around 1000m.
4. Docs are ur friends!!
Or have a doc on ur alt account. He can go rez you and save GOOD xp.
5. Dont take unnecesary risks. If you think u have taken a lot of visibility dont grind more than 1 buff session, just log ur alt and go kill some NS/Krayts for your crystal needs

I am a New Padawan (Unlocked after pub 9)
Here's how I hunt
I only wear my robe and bring out my LS when I am out in wilderness,
I Hot key my normal outfit incase anyone comes around I can pop it on real quick.
I hunt very close to a safe house... Somewere I can run and log out without being killed.
I group only with my pet so to get the Group bonus without getting vis points.
I hunt out of an old player city that is about to Poof (not sure were I am going after it does poof)
It's a less populated area.
I run as soon as I see ANYONE coming (even if its other jedi who ride by me)
I take my time and pace myself.. This is not a race this is a long road that I will finish in time...

Great guide....wish I read it before hand!
On that note, I was TKM/Doc and slowly dropping TKM to train Padawan skills. I quickly realised without TKM if a BH approached I was a super-easy kill. So I dropped alot of Doc, retrained TKM and am also Fencer 1-4-4-0 now to max out my melee/ranged defence (+125) and anice bonus to my state defences. I still haveMaster Medic so i can slowlysurrender these skills as Itrain in Padawan.
At least this way, if its a solo BH i now stand a fair chance to kill him/her before they get me.....and if not survivethose few crucial seconds to jump on my speeder and flee

--What is needed to get from initiate to padawan? You have to finish the padawan trials and poof you're padawan
--Are there skills u need first or is it just alot of xp? You have no skills at first only the robes and the training saber you constructed during the trials
--If xp how much. You need 20k jedi xps (that you will have to earn with your training saber) to start taking boxes like novice lightsaber.
--Once I get padawan is force run the first row? No, start with lightsaber first, combat is the only way to make jedi xp
--If so what novice tree is that in? It's in the enhance tree, but go with lightsaber first
--What should I do after force run1? Check answers above
--I heard healing ok what skills should I get b4 I start doingLS Same
--Once Im ready to get LS how should I work it? Double bladed for the area attack in the first box then you decide
--Please let me know a good order to train I love knowing whereto go on the road to jedi. Get lightsaber novice and all the beginning boxes at first if your template can spare the SP.
Thanks for all your help .may the force be with u
hope it helps
