Same issue, but I can't COMPLETE the quest.
Reading all the problems on this thread, i'm getting worried as i've just had my visit from the old man (for the first time) and about to get underway to Jedi. I must say i'm not looking forward to my first visit from the sith shadows, if the lvl is as high as it is, now i am CL 80 smuggler/pistoleer so hopefully i will be alright? Or has it been balanced now?
Which leads me to my second question :
With all the problems with balancing and bugs (not being able to complete missions) does anything get done?
I'm noticing people posting the same problems again and again, with it being NPC lvl too high or this commander bloke being tarded. I'm sure the FS representative on the forums does a good job, it's not a slight on you, but do you ever get feedback to these problems once you report em to the devs? Because I see all these problems arising and nothing much happening other than, players agreeing.
My last question is:
Is it worth it? I hope so, coz i'm bored 
I think the most serious bug in this game right now is the complete lack of customer service. As of right now, I'm convinced they don't even exist. At least give us a post on these forums, let us know they're doing something, anything, to fix these problems.
Padawan trials are buggy as a roach motel. I had 5, count 'em....5 NPCs disappear on me as I approached them to either start or finish a particular trial.
Shrine WP's don't "stick" in your datapad. I've had to manually make a WP for a shrine just in case I need to come back to one.

It's making the game unplayable. These must be fixed.
