Thread: bad news patch 21 coming tuesday
Uh, any of you guys been to the village today?
Done any XP exchanges?
Guess what...
It's already IN LIVE. They snuck it in on us. And it ALL Weapons XP. Not just combat. Either that or I'm bugged.
Rifles? 30/1
Carbines? 30/1
Pistols? 30/1
All of em.

Uhh, when you say "Pistols? 30:1 Rifles? 30:1 all of em" it implies that either 1. you didn't know they were 30:1 before.. which leads to #2 2. you're a noob.
And stop asking people what grade they're in, I'm going into 9th and I'm sure as hell not as stupid as you'd like to imagine me to be.

COMBAT IS ALREADY AR 30/1.

While, yes, I am new at Jedi, no I'm not new to the game.
I've played for awhile.
And the point of calling you a Noob wasn't in reference to being a Noob to the game. It was emotional relaiation. Makes me feel as good as it does you. Besides, when one read written content, one of the things you have to do is observe the CONTEXT.
The "word" Noob is most frequestly used in a derogetory fasion, there for it's meant to be a term of ridicule, not a descriptive term applied accurately to the one being addressed. In other posts in the forums, you see the same thing being applied to other posters that are obviously no new to the game ( having been registered sometime in 2003, it would be impossible for them to be a Noob).
Therefore, the use of the term Noob, when applied to a player that has any significant amount of time in the game, is being used as an insult.
Did I stoop to your level? Yes, I did. Just as I have in the past with my now teen'aged daughter. When she was small, one often had to stoop to her level of understanding to get her to comprehend a lesson being addressed to her.
The point being, when you use derogetory terms, and intentionally insult another person over something as inconsequential as a video game, you are behaving like a child. Another proof? You still missed the part where I included the information that combat XP was already converting at the new 30/1 ratio. This occured on the 1st, not the second. The other examples were to demonstrate that I was comparing the previously accepted 30/1 ratio for other weapon XP conversion with the new combat XP ratio. That seems to me to be the real reason that this was done... to bring ALL combat related conversions into line....which they will eventually do.
The next step will be to convert the progression up the combat trees to an equivelent time progression.
Now... your response?

im not going to get into a flameware here, the term n00b i used cause you said; they "snuck" it on us (30:1), while this acutally has been know for well over 2 weeks. It has nothing to do with time spent ingame or the fourms, it has to do with haveing a generally overview of whats going on with a game you play, an overview you lack. I dont care if its a videgame or not, you post something that is n00bish, and i can call you n00b. You should maybe reverse the situation->its only a videogame, i dont care that people call me a n00b?

i think you made a mistake, i havent seen any post eihter, and seeing as you are shocked about the following:

aka, the start of the argument, you can not read that in any other way then that ALL Weapons XP has been converted to 30:1 which it has ALWAYS been.
They can only implement the conversion during downtime, so either your server has gone down first or you made a mistake, the latter i think..
I'll wait.
