No! Absolutely not! Never! It's a horrible idea! I drove back and forth all those times, you can too!
......seriously, though, I think that place needs a shuttleport. The drive gets really annoying after a while...

I like it the way it is now alltho the ride is somewhat long and boring. I would rather have them fix the dathomir trees. I always get stuck in them lol.

man when i saw this thread i thought of that!!! maybe have u go to a npc a little way away from the science outpost and have "all the villagers" focus and teleport u to the mist....if thsi reply thing doesnt work it was to that monorail teleport thing

No on a shuttle, Yes on NPCs in major citys to convert XP, but the village is still needed to unlock the branches

I need to go there for 3 more trees, so Yes, please... but come on, honestly, it does not fit in there regarding Style, Idea,Design oranything there is now in the Village. Accept that it is not going to happen!
I found my own way of getting there "faster":
Leave science, engage autodrive,head SE until you leave the hills and reach flat land, turn to the Village and sit back and relax - in the flat southern pathway I was in most runs aggroed maybe once or twice, and in a couple of others I drove the whole way without even seeing a creature or NS. Yes, this is longer, but flat, easy and undisturbed.

I think you should be able to land there with JTL, not shuttle there.

No....I have finished the village and would have liked a shuttle. But now? Hell No 
It is a hidden village, so a shuttleport there wouldnt make sense.

Absolutely not. I hate the stupid trees and the occasional NS, but a shuttle there is plain stupid.

Landing there with a ship should be possible, but then landing anywhere with a ship should be possible (provided you don't 'do a Luke' and try landing in a swamp).
Shuttle yes. But the only other shuttle port should be right in the SE corner of Dath hehe (in other words no).
