The main issue at hand IS NOT against non-jedi. It is NOT against PVE. Publish 19 helped out considerably in those areas. The main issue at hand is force defenses. Right now, a lone jedi with defender 0040 can mitigate 45% of the initial damage from choke ticks. That is WITHOUT aura activate. With aura activate, mitigation rises to 62%. Now, you may know or not, this is one of the most heavily dabbled lines in defender. Here's another kicker. Add in improved force shield...AGAIN, in one of the most heaviliy dabbled lines in enhancer. This bumps mitigation to 75%.
A master defender alone can mitigate around 51% damage, very....VERY close to the armor they wear. Lightsabers, with their VERYLOW min/max damage range, really only have armor to dealagainst in the defense department. Yet, they Still have the ability to break that number down 65%. They have the chance to break upwards of 60% protection all the way down to 21%. They would have a chance to break that 51% mitigation factor (which is very close to a master defenders armor protection) down to 18%.
And let me remind you, force defenses and force shield STACK TO A HIGHER DEFENSE than +70 innate armor and improved force armor does. 60% vs. 65%? Is that balance?
And on a second note, see about removing warm-ups for lightning and force strike, and reducing Lightning Area's warmup. This is just obviously pointless and really doesn't help a Ranged Damage dealer if they are force to stand there for 5 seconds.
I know there are other disciplines to worry about........but come on, focus on Jedi AS A WHOLE. Force wielders have ALOT more things to worry about than cloak (yet again, one of their defense mechanisms).

There are far too many defenses against powers in both enhancer and defender right now for powers to be viable in jedi v. jedi pvp. I think force weaken should work as a force defense break and possibly an armor break as well. That would solve the problem of 0040 defender mitigating my master powers damage to the point where it is no longer a threat.
I think this is reasonable considering that currently against a master defender using his abilities my choke ticks away for about 93 damage and my lightning hits for about 120, while if he hits me with an armorbreak i am getting hit for between 1k and 1.2k. I am not asking for perfect parity in damage to sabers against a defender. I just think it should be closer than 1/10th. I believe it would be appropriate for powers damage to be closer to 3/4th of sabers, since powers does provide some extra abilities and is ranged.

2- i think that we (meaning we = force wielders ) are addressing our whines about ineffectivity of force power tree to the wrong ppl. Just think a while about the movies.....6 movies and not a single person killed by a lightining....not even the emperor has been able to kill anyone using his lightings. Even when he kills mace windu, he's able to do that only because anakin had previously heavily wounded him. without that,he would have been killed. he's not even able to kill an unarmed opponent ( luke in episode VI ). Not to mention Joda: lighting were fresh water for him.Moreover,the emperornever moves while using lighting ( in episode VI,he stops while going downstairs...) so definitely you have to stand still while using that power. However,Darth Fener was able to choke an admiral from his destroier to another: it's obvious we should be able to choke ppl to death AT LEAST at a distance of 500 meters ( as they get targettable ). getting back to the core of the discussion,weshouldn't whine with devs...WE SHOULD WHINE WITH GEORGE LUCAS!!!!

if you had not noticed this game is only loosely based on the movies. TKM exist and jedi exist in numbers the movies say is impossible. I would say a better resource for Powers ideas at this point would be the other Lucasarts games that have featured them. From what i understand, they were quite powerful in those.
one more thing.
in the last several weeks, i have seen alot of great ideas on powers whichis no doubt a gimped prof that is out there. and not one of of those suggestions even made the list. the best that was done by our correspondent who is supposed to be the voice of the community was mention issues on cloak which to me should be lower in priority since for the most part, it works (i am glad about the target issue). in addition, our correspondent basically forced his opinion on the community by saying that power wielders are crowd controlers. if you ask every power wielder that is out there, i would say that the majority of them are complaining of low DPS which implies that weWANT to fulfill ourintended role as stated by the devs to be damage dealers.this to me tells me that our correspondent is not listening to our concerns and has hisown agenda for what the rolesshould be. this to me is wrong since powersARE NOT and NEVER WERE INTENDED TO BE crowd controlers.

Can you also try to get an answer on what will happen to those of us who were working on the trials? Or more specifically, those who had already chosen the path of light or dark, didn't finish before the CU and now wish to switch sides?

Not fixed, it is still 'chain roo/warcry' and you never pvp'd lately I bet
3.Any chance that the Healing delays will be reduced or if not will heals in general be improved (ex. 4xxx Healer could give 2k heals instead of the 1.5k heals now); if so will this be in the FRS.
4.With regards to Jedi Cloak, will the following be fixed:
a.Jedi while on Force Cloak are /tar-able. Fixed in Publish 20 on TC... Do you not pay any attention?
b.Jedi while on Force Cloak can be agro’d by NPCs while running around in dungeons and in the wild.
c.Jedi while on Force Cloak can be seen just by the shadow below them that do not disappear if a player is looking at shadows underthesimpleoption.
d.Jedi are able to attack single and multiple targets while cloaked; combat spam will say nothing about what is happening because of this. Never seen this...

5.Jedi Discipline – Force Healer:
a.This profession costs far more than any healer profession to grind Xp wise yet is less efficient. How is this going to be fixed?
b.Also the xxx4 line of healer because Jedi very rarely worry about the effects of Poisons and Diseases let alone bleeds which do next to nothing worthwhile at the moment.
6.Jedi Discipline – Force Enhancer
a.The xx4x (resist buff) line in enhancer seems to be worthless due to the lack of state effects actually doing anything at the moment(other then the fact that they all do something atm.. sure)and also poison and disease resists seem to not work either.
7.Any chance of a comment on the implementation of a Master/Padawan System?
Force Sensitive Profession:
1.Will the old Mind Buff Crystals ever have a use again? This was a long and hard quest to get a now worthless paperweight.
2.Phase 3 Capture Enemy Leadership - Sith Commander moves way too slow and refuses to climb hills making only 1 base (the one nearest the Village) viable to complete the quest. Any Chance of getting this fixed?
3.Can we get a break down of what each Force Sensitive skills are supposed to do exactly? Some of them have less than accurate descriptions that are often misleading.
4.The first attack after the Old man visit has 3 Sith attackers with level 75 and Up. This is not possible for people without near finished templates. Think we can tone those attackers CL down a bit?
5.Some FS trees are broken, (such as the healing tree giving mods no longer needed and one tree in crafting which lowers the chance to fail while assembly when that was removed many publishes ago)
6.Will there be a chance to convert jedi xp to FS xp?
