jedi holocrons and sith holocrons will always read the same...

this starting from the back or front of a list of numbers according to a holocron's type is unsound. re-write your theory, its interesting, but the type of holocron does not matter.

I counted down the number of professions , and my holocron on that server didn't line up with the profession.

My number is 8 and that's not the correct profession number my holocron told me.

im using the information that u guys have provided and am currently going through it all to see what i can bring up, might take me a few hours to figure it out... so just give me some more time.

i have two differerent sets of numbers for gorath, i only have one character (in gorath) on that account. Now i look in all my other characters folders and they all have just one set of numbers. As im writing this im getting the feel maybe I opened the slot (since there two different characters, but the FSS one is on the SAME galaxy!) but than again I havn't even completed my FIRST holo yet nor have I goten any message

LOL! This post is kinda funnie... you doing seriously believe that the game mechanic for unlocking your slot is in the client part. I will bet ya anything that nothing you have in your client data can lead to revealing information on how precisely YOU unlock the slot with you character..

This is all doing on the server side.. believe me.

rofl, first off, i kinda like your theory, but regular and sith holocrons tell you the same thing. this has been tested. so that part is not right. now where EXACTLY are you finding these numbers? in my server list i have some stuff in there, but i only see one .inv file......where are all these other ones? also the ONLY way to tell is to get one of the jedis who mastered 5 profs to look in his files for one.....and how do you konw where to start? just get a holo and look for a # that starts with that one?!!?!?! what will that tell? whos to say that the profession the holocron tells you will be the first one on the list? you think that this is how the holocron works? i always thought this file was your character file....thats what the chat log says your species. I think that the people who this actually worked for got lucky...i mean theres a pretty good chance.....i love this theory, cause it could mean that i may actually have a sure fire way to get the fs slot....however it doesnt really work very well....i dont tihnk this is it.i say, grab 4 holos, do those profs, then close your eyes and just pick a prof to do and cross your fingers

ok i tried a search and only found one set of numbers as well, but i have 2 accounts, the account from day one # is 41355792, and the one from about a month ago is 12176075197

i see a pattern too bad it's not jedi related, oh and btw i got a holo that said master commando from the day one account

Used a holocron, got Swordsman 28 or 29 depending on whether you count Politician. Neither 28 nor 29 show up in my file, period. I ran a search for 28 and 29, neither showed a single result. Used wordpad and did a search for 32 just to make sure it would find it (since the first number grouping ended in 32) and it found 3 instances of the number 32 in the file.

actually you better check again, i have the account onmultiplePC'sand they all havethe same number.

like i said before, its only a theory, but i still have yet to have proof... so far its only coincidence, but it stops being coincidence if my next skill is either "dancer" "musician" or "artisan", i should be master entertainer in a day or two, then i will post what my next skill is... if its not one of those three, then i will happily drop this, but till then, i still have my hopes
