Thread: Guide to Aurilia: Current TC Info (v2.0)
That was a pretty informative post. It certainly helped me make up my mind as to what I will be doing in the game.
He mentioned that it took 50k of fs xp to get the novice box and 175k, 250k, 350k and 450k to get the boxes in a branch. It takes 6 branches to unlock. So that would mean 2 novice boxes and 6 branches for a total of 7,450k of fs xp ( (175+250+350+450)*6 + (2*50) ).
The conversion for combat experience is 30 to 1 for weapon and 3 to 1 for combat.
So lets say I can get 90k of weapon xp and 9k of combat xp per hour. That would be 6k of fs xp. So it would take roughly 1241.67 hours to get that much xp. If I played 3 hours a day that would mean I can unlock in roughly 413.89 days.![]()
Now I understand that Jedi progression is just as hard but until I did this I never understood just how painful it is to be Jedi. It really showed me that I just don't have the determination to pull this off.
In many ways I think that this is a good way to prevent an overabundance of Jedi in the game.
Paemos will have an extra option for those who have hologrinded (or just did a lot of professions). He offers "free branch unlocks". At this time it appears that these unlocks are equivalent to unlocking a skill tree through a branch. That is: they allow you to train the skill branch but do not grant you an boxes or experience for that skill branch. I can, for example, unlock the Enhanced Senses: Luck skill and I will be able to immediately train in it if I have the FS sense xps to spend. This allows one to overcome the 3 week phase period but does not allow one to skip any of the grinding attached to obtain a branch. There is some concern about this and we can hope that it may be changed. Also note that this information is second-hand and a couple of days dated and may not be accurate at the time you read this (changes don't always make it to the patch notes).
It's a reward, I got it as well, Euro-Pimp.

Phase 1 - Clean-up Crew
Quest Giver: Quharek
Task: Repair the Sensor Array - Quharek tells you that the chief engineer has been killed in the attack and that the sensor array has been damaged. He directs you towards the sensor array and asks for your help in the matter
- Find and Examine the Sensor Array- The Sensor Array looks like a Standard Mission Terminal, near the edge of the wall. Examining the Array will bring up a menu that allows you to retrieve and place the 4 Sensor Array parts.
- Find the chief engineer's workstation- This is a simple task that involves walking into one of the nearby huts. Currently, this part of the mission is a bit bugged, since both tools are 'hidden' under the table. From talks with QA, the tools should be placed on the table top at some point, so that they can be more readily found.
- Calibrate and replace components- Using the chief engineer's tools, you can backwards engineer a schematic of each of the four parts. After each part is built, each part must be calibrated using the second tool that is found present. Calibration of each piece is done by solving a puzzle of various difficulty. These puzzles will challenge each person differently, based on their own abilites. After calibration of each piece is completed, the components are to be replaced in the sensor array and the rewards are given for the quest. The following is a list of the required resoruces for each part, and a screenshot of each puzzle.
