I just started waiting for the old man's 1st visit. I'm planning my xp conversion for max time saving and it took me a while to find the FS XP requirements. The ones I found werelisted by someone elseso if you will:

Will you please include the FS XP requirements/fs skill boxunder the xp conversion ratio?

something like: all FS skills require the same FSXP per box:Skill box 1 ----125,000FS XP

Skill box 2 ----250,000 FS XP...etc

Do the FS skills and later the jedi skills cost skill points? Are they taken from the same skill point pool as my other skills (CH and rifle most imprtantly) or do they have a skill point pool of their own?

Thanks,

Same skill point pool, the FS skills all cost 1 skill point other than Novice and Master which take 0, but give you no benefit.

jedi skill point cost varying points but are differnent then the regular professions.

I think it is 8 points for a jedi novice skill.

1) Any tips on killing Mallichae? 56k HAM seems like it'll be impossible for me to ever beat him.

Well, you don't have to solo him. I have yet to do this part yet (i have 3 boxes left in my 6th branch, so i should be doing it this weekend). What you do is get like 5 friends with you. Have 1 dispatch the annoying little pirates (these guys are easy), Send two friends to start killing the Force crystals, and I would say to then work on Mellichae with the people who are left. The guide says to kill him last, however if you know anything about killing Nightsisters, you would know to start from the top and work your way down. The last thing you need is a uber resist force user stabbing you while you deal with a few pirates. And there are many ways to handle this situation.

Get a couple Master Swordsman to tank on Mellichae's mind pool.
Have a TKM work on Dizzy and KD attacks on him.
You could have a creature handler in the group to send a suicide pet in there to take the first blasts, so that a player doesn't get jumped.
Get some people with ranged attacks so that they can just plug away while someone is tanking Mellichae.
Uhh.. Try getting a Doc in the group to rez or heal when needed for insurance sake.

And the list continues. But I guarentee I have just Overkilled this whole quest with what i just listed. You want a sure way to beat this? Grab 15 people and go rush it, forget strategy and just tell everyone to attack anything they can (hows that for organization lol). I guarentee that in the end, if you didn't grab a bunch of newbs, that Mellichae will be dead and your mission completed. Only let Masters Help you, unless you get so many newbs in your group that Mellichae is too buzy mowing them down to pay his attention to you untill your ready to face him. Ohh don't forget GROUP. Group so that if someone else kills him, you still get the credit. Thats it.

Good Luck,
-The Death Worm

I will update my post after I do this over the weekend to tell how it went.

Hopefully someone can answer this question for me. The village is currently in phase II. If I start a quest in phase II, and then phase III starts soon afterand I am still doing that quest, what happens? Do I just keep working on the phase II quest and then start on the phase III quest when I'm done. Or do I have to start a new phase III quest and wait for phase II to come back around to finish it?

Speed capped master riflemen using conceal shot and you should never have to worry about it.

Just stand off to the side, and watch him die without ever moving. A group of them 64m away in the pron position would do the trick nicely.

Make sure they attack the henchmen, the crystal then mell in that order. If they attack the crystals first the henchmen will aggro.

You could do it without speed capped rifleman but it would take longer.

Quick question, I got JTL beta, and I'm just curious about something. If I master every profession, all 34, get glowy and go to the village. Will I be given my 6 free branch unlocks?

No Force-Sesitive xp cap has been discovered as yet, but it is safe to assume that like most other xp's, it is twice the current highest skill box.

I've recently discovered that FS XP doesn't cap at 900k like we'd think. I've stacked up enough to fill the next (and last!) branch once unlocked. (Yay me!)

This may have been already answered but I'm not about to go searching through XX amount of messages to se if it has LOL!

Weather there IS a cap, I don't know and have VERY little interest in finding out! (surprised? )

Long awaited are the Jedi robes! Gone will be the days of Jedi running about in armor. The Jedi robe will provide a hidden toughness value that will protect the Jedi, similar to armor, but providing more of a Jedi feel. -TH Jedi archive II

Chance would be a fine thing!!!

Friggin servers are down again!

Funny how this always seems to happen during a village phase change isn't it?

Okay, here it is for Luck

find 8 resouce locations of 50% concentration. pretty easy to do. You'll also pick up a sith resource at each successful resource location.

Reward is an Inorganic Survey Device good for all inorganic resources.

Hope this helps

I'm offshore at the moment and can't double check, but I'm fairly certain that I unlocked Heightened Senses:Luck in phase 3, not in phase 2 as seems to be stated in the guide.
