Thanks to the many who contributedfor putting this guide together...it certainly helped me renew my interest in the game after many months away. I look forward to the difficult path ahead.

Can you group up to finish some of these unlocking missions? Cause I'm currently on Melee Speed mission 7/8 or8/8 (the one with 2shadow taskmasters) Even withgreat wookie armor and Master TKA I'm still outnumbered. I can take 1 if he's by himself but 2 taskmasters + pirates and outlaws... how can anyone solo them?Or like Ioriginally asked, can we group up and have the mission stillcount?

I completed my 6 branches, but I have not gotten another visit from the old man. Are you sure this is how it works?

awesome guide man, thats alot of really helpful info for everyone.
just a couple corrections for you to put in that I noticed,
I traded some xp with paemos and got different rates than you had stated.
I traded alot and most were bang on but 3 came out differently
ID= 7:1, 15589 gave 2227
Trapping 25:1, 1300 gave 52
BE crafting 4:1, 5364 gave 1341

Is it possible to maintain my Commando skills if I wish to become a Jedi?
Also which skill proffesion would you recommend for a new charecter to become Jedi? Melee?

Yes, you can group. I helped a friend do this a couple days ago. Personally I could solo them with both hands behind my back. After all they don't have force powers. (Wait till you start messing with things that have force powers 
).

Master CH (I did no use any pets for this, infact I have yet to use a pet for combat in 6 months, except on a NS Elder which helped none since my best pets went down after 5 hits.)
FS Melee Speed
FS Melee Speed

FS Melee Accuracy
FS Vehicle Control
FS Survival
Just get buffed and wear armor (yeah yeah so what if your TKM, most people think wearing armor when your TK is a Sin or something, bah, just load up and get your mission done, not taking hits is 10 times more important than how much damage you do).You can also agro them one at a time if you want. Just don't go rushing in there like a chicken with your head chopped off. Take your time and inch up 1m at a time till one goes agro, kill it and go for the rest. However I did rush in there, and after Area attacking those pathetic pirates, It only took like 5 mind hits to kill each taskmaster. If your TKM, Dizzy and KD each of them, ignore the pirates and kill the Taskmasters before dealing with the pirates.

hmm, thats weird. I went from no connection to surging by collecting7 POI's, LOL! And I haven't done a content badge or even mastered a profession.
In case anyone wants to know them, they are (in no particular order):
Pit of Carkoon (Tat)
Krayt Graveyard (Tat) [I already had this badge, but I will include it because it is a "difficult" POI. I know, it makes 8 badges.]
Krayt Skeleton (Tat)
Ben Kenobi's Hut (Tat)
Ruined Jedi Temple (Dant)
Temple of Exar Kun(sp?) (Yavin)
Temple of the Woolamander (Yavin)
Blueleaf Temple (Yavin)

1) Any tips on killing Mallichae? 56k HAM seems like it'll be impossible for me to ever beat him.
2) What exactly do i have to do to get these "free unlocks?" I've never tried the Jedi thing before soI don't really know how all this works. I know i talk to the guy mentioned in the guide, but do i need something to show him? if so how/where do i get it...

1) Heh, can't say...still waiting on the old man here. Hopefully he'll come tonight.
But...
2) The "free unlocks" are part of the oldsystem which used Jedi Holocrons in order to give you certainprofessions to grind. This is no longera part of the the Jedi system. Those that grinded theprofessions that the Holocrons recommended are able to get what are termed "free" unlocks. However, given the profession grindback inthe day, I wouldn't really call them free.
