Damn just spent 20 minutes typing and it didn't post and i lost it.. well here's the brief version.

Not sure if any of these points have been made since i haven't read all 22 pages of this thread... but anyway here are some corrections.

Phase 2: Heightened Senses: Surveying Tree (not Luck as stated in the guide).

NPC is Eozlin. (Silvarra wasn't anywhere to be found).

Quest requires you to find minimum 50% concentration of about 10 different resources. The crystal updates your progress and gives you the next resource so you don't have to keep returning to the village.

The surveying was easy and took under an hour to locate the concentrations (luckily I was able to do this without getting attacked by rancors or nightsisters).The only (slight) difficulty i had was that It didn't accept radioactive or reactive gaswhen it asked for Energy. After finding two concentrations of radioactive and one reactive gasItried crafting a solar energysurvey tool (which i don't usually carry) and that worked.

Reward is an Inorganic survey tool (not organic as stated in the guide). Its pretty cool if you're a crafter as it lists all inorganic resources in one tool allowing you to free up a little inventory, since you don't have to carry 4-5 tools with you all the time.

I don't think it's possible to get a replacement if the tool is lost or damaged so i would have preferred the ability to craft this tool for personal use. I insured it immediately and will be keeping it in my droid when not in use.

Does anyone know if the +20 to surveying that this tree unlocks increases survey range over the max (Survey 4) 320m range, or will it only allow me to drop some of my survey skills will keeping the max range?

Someone asked in a previous post what the Crafting Techniques tree does. As far as I know it reduces the chance of critical failures the same way crafting foods do. I don't feel it's worth the effort to get this tree and saving crafting xp for experimentation & assembly.

I found this conversion works best for me 900k elite prof max with 90k combat xp= 60k fs pts. So if your toon has two combat profs mastered its 120k fs everytime you max them out. So do this 11 times for each tree. And then your done. Jedi here you come. I can max both my Sword and Fencer xp out in about 4hrs of grinding. Depending on the spawn availibitliy where I grind.

Question: If I screw up and start doing the quest part of a tree I don't want (ie Phase 2 Combat Prowress) can I wait until Phase 3 and start something else? If I do this (just wait and hope it goes away) will it reset on Phase 3? Also when Phase 2 comes back, will I be able to do something else?

Question: The Old man came to me today while I was being aggroed by a bunch of kunga's on dantooine. After about 2 minutes I got a message that said "The mysterious Old man rushes away...". I didn't even get to talk to him. Am I screwed, or will he come back? If so, how soon?

Help :-(

Yes the old man will return... just hop a shuttle to somewhere else... walk out about 1000m and he will pop back up ... do this a couple times.. He will show.

Erp, the guide says I have to fill a novice box before doing any village quests? So did I do that silly patrol quest for nothing? I did get a message saying I'd unlocked the relevant line.

Question: To become a Jedi Initiate, do I need to master 6 trees, or do I need to only unlock the 6 trees?

Question #2: Is there a faster way of getting force-sensitve xps other than grinding away?

(sony goofed this up, it was easier the oldway if those are both no's...)

Hello every one

I NEED HELP ..

when i was doing this morning my mallice quest electrcity went in my location . And my computer shut downed . I wait to log in the game but electricity didn't come back at that moment and I waent to my job . I am write now from my work this... I will try to log in again after 8 hour ..

Somallice agroed to me . I run out while i was hitting back to him I logged off before i kill mallice .. What will be happend now .. Can i get the quest again or did my padawan way stopped ?

Yeah but what would be nice is if you could say, walk up to the elder and he tells you , "There are 2 weeks, 2 days, 11 hours, 32 minutes, and 16 seconds left in the current phase. So yeah you can tell what phase you are in, but big deal, because if you come in and you don't know it, the next morning you go to do a phase, it could have changed. Since this phase junk works on a system timer... they just need to tell you how much time you have left, not make you guess.

Is there a phase 5 and 6? What happens if you didnt get any free unlocks? How can you get 6 lines complete without it?
