So the good news is for all of us thatwant mostmelee/ranged sp's and have no unlocks if we start on phase 2 it will take 6 concurrent phases with no gaps....
Phase 2 - Vehicular control (nice crystal loot too)
Phase 3 - Ranged Defense
Phase 4 - Ranged Speed
Phase 1 - Ranged Acc
Phase 2 - Melee Speed
Phase 3 - Melee Acc
Also something that hasn't been pointed out... If you are an Elite combat prof you will get Combat XP aswell as your weapons XP, this may seem obvious, but it makes getting the 50k fs xp for your first boxes into grinding 750k weapons, with 75k combat at the same time... a bit easier.
Same thing with the other skill boxes:
skill 1 - 175k= 2,625,000 weapons, 262,500 combat
skill 2- 250k =3,750,000 weapons, 375,000 combat
skill 3 - 350k= 5,250,000 weapons, 525,000 combat
skill 4 - 450k= 6,750,000 weapons, 675,000 combat
As the previous poster said, at 900kweapons xpevery few hours that's not as bad as everyone thinks.

Ok, forgive me, as i am a bit slow in the head. So, i unlocked combat prowess in phase 1, in phase 1 the combat prowess branch was Ranged Accuracy. Now, during phase one, i didnt have the xp to train to lvl 1 in ranged accuracy, however i completes the mission and got the force crystal. Now that it is Phase 2, am i able to spend xp on ranged accuracy ?

The available quests are dependent on the phase. The only thinga quest does is unlock a branch (and give you a reward). This must be done in the proper phase, however once you have unlocked you can convert and train that xp regardless of the phase.

When he appeared to me: I was standing at The echo base shuttle port on tat, briha, and turned to use my ticket and oberserved the shuttle flying away, i was about to start bitching about my plite to the guy that was standing in my body (cause i thought it was another player coming to the city) i turned and saw it was the old man.

when doing "The Old Soldier's Mission (Torin)"
I found that the only planet NOT bugged, was Talus.
I went to Naboo, Corellia, Tatooine, and Rori.
At these four locations the NPC NEVER APPEARED.
I tried logging, and relogging, and never had any luck with him showing up.
When I went to TALUS
he was there.
I'm not sure if anyone else had a similar experience, but I wanted to let people know.

Chef Trial: A Jedi must be willing to put himself in danger in order to do what is right. A waypoint leads to a Chef who wants you to find out who is stealing his goods. I would imagine that you would hunt down the people stealing, however, since it is possible to cheat on this Trial, by telling him you won't help [this completes the trial for you], I cannot find any accurate information. Will update later

Telling him you won't help him once he says he wants revenge is the correct way to complete this, as a jedi does not seek "revenge". So refusual to help him is the correct way to complete this.

anyone know when there are gonna fix the whip bug its been almost a week now. They just keep sending me tickets saying they know of the problem. I hope it gets fixed before the phase shift

The village itself is in cycles and is currently at phase 2. No matter how quick you finish that quest you have to wait til the next phase to start the next one. They shift roughly every 3 weeks.
Phase 3 will be in around 2 weeks time. Look at the branches in the guide and pick the best one for you in the list (If that is whips branch in phase 3 do that).
Free unlocks are rewards for the old system depending how many holo profs you mastered. 7 got you 5 unlocks, 6 got 4 etc.
Yes you have to earn the novice box before you can learn any skills. I think its 50k or so? A walk in the park in comparison to the 4th level boxes

PLEASE HELP 
Read the guide and was very pleased that someone took the time to figure all this out and share his time.
Some problems I have had while following the guide...
1. When I went to the village, I talked to the elder and then the CPT for Combat Prowess quests. He sent me over to see the other guy, who sent me on 8/8 combat quests. According to the guide, that should have unlocked Ranged Accuracy for Phase I. However, when I finished it was Melee Speed (phase two) that I unlocked. Considering I don't care about melee offense, that was disappointing. So I guess I am on phase 3 now? How can you tell what phase you are on? What happened to Phase I?
2. If I want to unlock Range Defense next, I talk to Whip, right? Assuming I'm on Phase 3 now. How long should I wait to talk to Whip if I just finished the Melee Speed quest? He just tells me I'm doing a good job right now.
3. What is a "free unlock"? I've also heard the term "holo credit". Is that for pre-patch Jedi?
4. Do I have to pay to open the Enhanced Reflexes first, prior to Whips quest? Being the retard that I am, I paid Noldan to open up Combat Prowess prior to finishing the Melee Speed quest (which still kills me, cause It was my first quest... I thought that would be Phase 1), so I don't know if it would have opened up anyway.
Whoever takes the time to answer this...
