I think I could say that the average person wouldn't max weapons once a day without "grinding" therefore to make it in time they would be forced to use grenades. There are also those that don't have the resolve, and have 5 trees left a week before unlocking 6 phases. I have someone in my guild in this situation. Because he can afford to buy enough grenades, he'll have his jedi a week after the 6th phase is over. Many of these people that use grenades, would other wise give up on the grind due to the amount of time that it takes.I feel that grenades should be nerfed. People complain about the jedi population all the time. I think it would be nice if there were less jedi, but I believe that anyone that puts in the "time" deserves one. If you have a familiy, or children, or are attached to work, then obviously you have other priorities. Those that make this game a priority how ever pathetic they might be should be the ones that end up with the jedi.
Those who "have a familiy, or children, or are attached to work" pay the same amount to play this game as those who "make this game a priority how ever pathetic they might be" and therefore are just as deserving of getting a Jedi if they fill the 6 branches, no matter how they manage to do it.
Those who "have a familiy, or children, or are attached to work" use grenades to help them get along quicker (for me, this means being able to maybe get a branch worth of XP during the 3 week phase, but actually still fall a little behind so that I'll still be grinding for awhile after I unlock my last skill).
Those who "make this game a priority how ever pathetic they might be" use grenades to get their branch worth of XP long before the phase changes, so they're just waiting around.
Both sides get done around the same time (though the people with a life still manage to fall behind), so what's the big deal?
For me, this is a terrible grind because with my limited time, all I can do is grind if I want to finish anytime soon. I do the same grind, grind, grind every time I play and do nothing else. I do this so I can finish as soon as possible so I can play once again. And before anyone says the Jedi grind is so much worse, I know that, but my plan is to once again be able to play the game instead of grind. Jedi is my goal, I'll get to Knight whenever.
EDIT: Typos.

absolutely correct! Someone that plays hours and hours a day is always going to beat someone that plays casually. Even if the casual player uses grenades, the grinder will still win. The equalizing element here is the 3 week wait between phases. Im in that situation now...im waitin on phase 3 to unlock a branch. Im using grenades to get 200k FS xp a day(1 buff session) 6days i have enough FS xp to fill the entire branch.(1.225mil FSxp)
Its a grind no matter how you look at it. Iam glad I tried the grenades because it gives me more time to do other things instead of blasting Baz Nitches to hell and back.
