Very interesting view Kovev. What would help a lot though in our discussion would be the statistics of the accounts. How many new players come to the game, how many leave etc.
I have a feeling thoughjust by comparing the activity in Coronet with that of one year ago that is a tragic ratio, meaning of course that tons of players quit.
I agree that there are many jedi players but you do have a point there. How many actually play? The system does keep them out of sight but I disagree that it is adequate to hold the players in the game.
We will see...

Well the entertainment professions suffered greatly when the cantinas were filled with afk grinders. I did start a new character at that period on another server to be a dancer (my choice) and I could not afford the Novice Dancer trainer. Noone tipped cause dancers and musicians were taken for granted.
I bet many more profs suffered a similar crisis.
And I do mind them both

Previously, the path to Jedi was a hidden mechanic where you had to master X amount of random professions. Although our intentions were pure, this turned out to be unhealthy for the game in general, and not as much fun as we would have liked. Now, the path to Jedi has several different stages, full of danger, excitement, and adventure.
If I take this the right way it means that the devs realised thatforcing the players togrind endlesslyhoping to hit the rightthe professions was a very cruel choice and poor desicion to unlock their jedi. However I fail to see how the new Jedi unlocking system is more appealing and friendly. I have just started on it and even though I got 3 free unlocks I realised that if I max my combat and weapon xp every day it will take me 21 days to train asingle branch. And I have to do this 3 times so I may later start to grind the jedi part. That means that I must play 3 hours every day for 63 days to complete the force sensitive part.
Am I the only one who sees the contradiction here?
Since the quests are 21 days apart, you will have your xp just in time.

Vader would finish his grinding in a couple weeks, then be shocked to learn he has to sit on his ass and wait 4 months to spend it haha.

Hey Chroma, Im just curious, reading some of your posts. You actually ask for content, and such, but yet, I don't see on your player info that you are even guilded. I think this would help quite considerably in terms of your current situation, and actually solve many of your problems with the game. If you are lucky enough to jointhe more active and larger guilds on your server, there is never a problem with and of the service providers. On my server, we have many people who add great value to our whole server and not just the guilds. There are AFK service providers for medical buffs, music/dance buffs, and now there is even people offering AFK solo group leaders as well, and this is on a 24 hour basis now that there are no daily shut downs. Anyway, back to my point of joining a guild, and that is you might experience a whole new dimension of MMO game play by doing so, and one that might help you in your current plight to keep interest in the game. Hope this works out for you.
