Well, listen, a lightsaber is a melee weapon, though is enhanced by the jedi's conection with the force.

And see thats the problem isn't it? A lightsaber although it acts like a melee weapon should be classified as different type of damage input. With combat proffession easily getting melee defense, it makes jedi less important thus less to worry. Although testing hasn't begun yet, we'll just wait and cross our fingers.

Ah, its more of an accuracy of the jedi rather than the melee defence of the defender. the better connected with the force the jedi is the better he should be. (this should be an "alternet advancement" sort of thing like EQ has to where the jedi can select advancing mods, same for all players. the more accurate you are, the higher your defence could be...and its just always of setting one another.)

you have to get a LS crafting tool
then you have to get all the resources and build it

max 700
base dps 333
modified 600

My Pre-cu saber !
is 611 max, 16 FC, 522 DPS 
Pretty sucky huh??
