Let me start by saying that yes the grind sucks. Its a pitiful way to attain a jedi. Something quest based would be much better. However the grind isnt as bad as it seems at first. You just have to do a few simple things 1.Dont hunt solo. Find a group the Dantooine Mining Outpost is a good place to go, your xp will be ten times what you get solo (this is of course after they fix the current bug) 2. get an xp buff from a dancer/musician. Sure it seems like its hardly worth it, but any xp helps in the long run. Anyway good luck to you.

you guys are missing the point. this new XP nerf doesnt just hurt FS players or Jedi padawans, but also the new players that come in....try to get some skills and figure out that in a party of 8, their grind sucks too. New players will quit, and we still have the over population of Jedi, which does nothing to correct the problem. Making player c work like a dog to obtain what player a already has, and both look at player b with contempt because of respec, and afk grinding is not right. So because I pay 15 a month I have to get screwed out of something that another already has and didnt have to work as hard for. Yes, getting a Jedi needs to be hard..... I have no problem with a long grind and pointless genocide on unaware pikets and bols.... BUT. they uped the combat conversion to 30:1 to stop people from using the gernade grind, but then this XP bug comes in..... if they really meant for it to be that hard, they should have just set everything to 180:1 conversion rates.

Here are the options.

Option A: they correct the nerfed XP bug and people grind their Jedi.....overpopulation still is here and gets worse.

Option B: they leave the bugged XP the way it is and lose more than 50% of their player base. (only people to stay would be fully tempted Jedi, their alts, and fully tempted charactors that had no desire to be Jedi.

I have no problem spending 4 months just to start grinding a Jedi. I played for1 month before I got glowy. And am grinding FS right now. I have no problem spending 4 - 6 months grinding to get a full template. I have a HUGE problem spending the next 3 months trying to complete my FS grind just to spend more than a year to get a full template Jedi. And it seems to me the only people that are in favor of this bug (and it is a bug) are those who already have their Jedi and are currently fully templated.

Well then why don't we have some other way to get a second character.

What some of you don't understand is that we were working even before this nerf.I was getting 300k FS xp each trip and now i'm getting close to 110k. You need approximately 7,650,000 to complete 6 branches so 7,650,000 divided by 300,000 is close to 27 village trips now were doing close to 77 village trips,I agree that the FS grind was quite simple but 27 to 77 is pretty drastic if you ask me.
