I understand that I can train other branches. I would like to know if I can surrender SP for Trees I already trained......and then retrain again?
Does that make sense

I think he is saying something along the lines of:
If I have 6 branches unlocked and I have 4 of them filled but I have no XP, is it possible for me to drop one branch and then train in another and use the xp from the branch I just droped. So can I sort of transfer the XP from one tree to another.
I think thats what he is asking.
In which case I think the answer is no.

Yes. When you surrender a FS skill box the SP (Skill Points) are returned to you. You are then free to train any other skill/branch you want to assuming of course you have the XP needed and that skill/branch is unlocked.

the only thing you have to worry about is that 24 SP will be forever spent in FS skill boxes. leaving you with 226 to play with in any and all professions . . . including jedi.

In short yes you can..
If you complete the village phases (and fill the trees), kill mellichae and then complete your paddy trials you will unlock your 2nd character slot. Then you basically have 2 characters, your first character is a 226 SP character (cos you have invested 24 in FS skills - and you cannot drop these while you have your 2nd character) and your second character will basically be a noob char with 250 SP to spend as you wish.

yeah, and as he previous posters pointed out...you would have a character with less SP, but you may have some xtra skills from the FS trees that can help regular professions
