It really is bad that combat XP only comes in at 1/10th of regular XP and then it gets wacked down at the village with the 30-1 conversion. As a bounty hunter / master rifleman can turn in 3.3 million XP if a cap out pistols rifles and carbines. This means I need 66.5 trips to the village to turn in all the XP I need to finish up force sensitive. Before the change combat XP at least gave you a bit of hope that it wasnt going to take you months to grind out what you needed. Thats what you have to do just grind XP. This is the first MMORGP I have played where players are just out grinding XP. I am not running the missions out of the Dant MO for the money its all about I need to get 220,500,000 XP to complete force sensitive. Now I actually regret the 3 weeks I took to do content missions to get reward items from various places because I could have been getting the higher combat XP.

It is really sad that I have to ignore the content of the game if I ever want to try to get to jedi before I quit because I am just tired of grinding.

SOE needs to realize that grinding does not equal fun. Grinding = Boring. Boring = Players Quiting therefore Grinding = less players, less players = LESS MONEY for SOE.

Grind is what makes me cancel my subscription every other month. It sucks. I play then quit for a bit, then come, then quit, cause grinding sucks...

What is so sad about this conversion is the casual player like myself who has been playing since Beta of this game have had the rules changed on us 4 times now.

Rule 1: Grind 6 Random Profressions (Had 10 Professions grinded by the time the first Jedi Appeared and the cool message about a disturbance in the force came across screen)

Rule 2: Grind 8 Random Professions (Had 17 Professions grinded only 15 more to go worse case to become a Jedi this change happened when Badges were introduced, but if you grinded a profession pre Badge certification you never recieved any Badges for previously grinded professions as they did not keep track of it supposedly.) BTW I only got 1 Free unlock (yes I was very unlucky)

Rule 3: Patch 10 - Jedi Village with 3:1 to one conversion ratios, etc.... (I had 5 Full trees completed with 1 box in the last combat tree completed with only 3 boxes left, I was taking my time, and now I have almost as much xp to grind as all of the previous 5 full trees I already completed)

Rule 4: Patch 18(?) - 30:1 xp conversion ratio introduced (and since I can only play SWG once a week it will probably take me another year to finish the last 3 boxes.

Now I have paid I believe for 27 months x 14.95 per month = 403.65, now for about $100 more I could have bought a Jedi account off of Ebay and would have had an account where someone who is a powergamer grinded, the real victim in all of the patching is the rules that are changed all the time, Jedi is a constant moving target, and if your an unlucky casual player like myself, your just simply SOL. Can't wait till the next requirement, or restriction is put in place, like no more than 1000 Jedi per server, or you must do all of the 100 Quests from the RoTW expansion.

I would like to know if this is what the Developers intended to hurt a ligitimate non-power gamer such as myself, why is my money worth anything less than someone who plays hours upon hours per day, should only be privy to a Jedi, in fact they make more money of me than a Power Gamer. I wish they would introduce a double xp rule similiar to the system in EQ2 for non power gamers.
