In the old days it took a full balanced group tactics and around 45 minutes to take down a krayt.
I remember those days. Being a doctor was really fun. Running through everyone, healing, dragging, rezzing. Squad leaders were useful. Flying grenades, combat medic grenades, lasers, rockets, martial arts, weapons fire, flame thrower, Monsterous pets... Seeing all these things happening at once and being a part of the animated war zone....
This gave us stories and laughs.
Was itby thedesign of the game? Or bythe actions of the players?

It will give you an idea on what to expect for the exit quest (Mellichae).
I really can't believe people are complaining now that there is a challenge. Take off the training wheels and live a little. Your finally forced into the deep end of the pool, enjoy it.

Please name another quest or mission where the npc says to bring a friend, and they only mean 1. While your at it, name one that doenst work right.. Ohh wait, that second part is way too easy...
Name another quest where it tells you to bring a friend and you need to bring even 1.

The only thing I don't like about this quest (tried it twice so far) is the fact that it isn't instanced....especially when other people are waiting for the same you are at the same time. That is one of the main reasons I quit EQ (camping) because it took too much time for a casual player like me. I do enjoy the fact that this is a challenge...still haven't succeeded, but it is exciting...my RL friend and guildmate discussed all kinds of ideas and tactics for this today at work, so I am raring to go again tonight. I will ask for advice as well....I am master pistoleer/master fencer...which is better to try and take down the thugs? Also, do you think the weaker of the two partners should drop the shield, or be the one to capture the base commander? Thanks for any advice (not trying to hijack). If you want, please PM with advice. Thanks!!!

This quest does not need to be tuned down. It is intended for a group to complette it. My city has completted it 8 out of 8 times. Just get some friends to go with you for help. What I would pettition for is the other quest's to be tuned UP, most of them are way to easy as it is.
