This is exploiting the game mechanics anyway.
Should not be doing this.

Some people just was some FS skils to better their templet you know.
Anyways jeez, guess the people of Tempest should could ourselves luck theres never more then about 6 people there most of the time.

Unfortunately, that is no consolation when there is an endless stream of exploiters using this method. It is bad enough that THIS is Sony's idea of "content-based Jedi," but to also have to deal with such ridiculous absurdity as AFK macroing so that you can autopilot to Jedi?
Uh uh. You people need to earn it like the rest of us, and stop exploiting the game.

I tend to agree. I wish desperately that there was a better system for restricting Jedi, perhaps only to those who wish to do so for the content instead of desiring to be min/max PvP tweakers.
Unfortunately, such a method doesn't seem to exist.

Actually it isn't; there is nothing in the Code of Conduct about scraping NPCs off on other players. Under some conditions it can be considered griefing, but when it is done to eliminate an exploit I imagine there would be little the cheaters could do.

I checked around on this just to see if anyone else had any information, and a couple of people from a previous guild of mine (also Day One vets) have confirmed that they know of at least one case of someone getting banned for this exploit. I do not know the individual they told me about, though, and am unable to make contact with him to verify, so take or leave it.
I take this as a sign of some things finally, actually going right in this game.

I honestly have no problem with those who want to macro-grind crafting, or who must AFK like entertainers, as these are inherent to the system and are WHY the macros were made to begin with.
It is those people who AFK grind a content-based concept like becoming Jedi. The very fact that they WOULD use an exploit for such a goal immediately eliminates them from any worthiness to attain that objective. If the Devs ever get around to doing up the Jedi quest right, then those who do not act accordingly with the ideals of a player Jedi or Dark Jedi will lose their Force-sensitivity.
In some meaningful, content-driven way, of course.
