Well, it honestly looks like they might have done it with the CU, though it will be a while longer before that can be tested. I am hoping, anyway.
If people are so hard-pressed to even show up for game, then they should LEAVE. I don't think I am being unreasonable here, after participating since day ONE and never autopiloting a single profession.

Very good points, and thank you for sharing. I do not suffer from a lack of bandwidth, though I presume many do, but rather a matter of suffering from rendering lag from the server itself because of the autopilot idiots.

You haven't even SEEN insulting, my friend. Why don't you go back and read some of the eldar posts of yesteryore, when the actual fans of this game had to deal with real problems like navigating entire planets on foot, in their underwear, unarmed. THEN maybe you can spend a few minutes telling all of US how important your AFK participation is, eh?

Do what i did on gorath i found me a nice elder spawn nearby and fr1 alllll the way to the village with her and her protector cronnies on my but get to the village stood on paemos /saberpolearmDervish2 /peace /fr2
2 area attacks and she kill no bs around 50 doc grinders and there rezbots....... that elder hung out all day

I hate this too, but mostly because I just hate seeing people playing a game afk. If you're going to do that why bother to play at all?

I think you are missing the point, SIR, and that is that the Devs have made numerous attempt to stop such exploits from happening, including nuking AFK bots. Does that not tell you something?
I don't givea CRAP how you play your game, so why don't you pull those all-important panties out of your twist and consider that other people in the universe have valid issues too, eh? In fact, why don't we even go so far as to consider actually PLAYING the game.
And for the record, my friend, I could give a flying salute less what you think on the matter: if I have to wait 5 complete minutes for one location to load because autopilot losers like you cant manage a keyboard and a mouse at the same time, then YOU are screwing with MY game. So why don't you START thinking about other people for a change, oh Lord and Master.

I'm missing the point? Your point seems to have changed. Kill/rezzing is at the keyboard, you cannot AFK it, if you did, it would not be worth doing. The reason I suspect that you believe they are AFK is that the people on your server know you and have added you to their Ignore list for when you stand there whining at them.
I think you do give a CRAP about my playing style because you you came here to cry about it. And I do play the game, my combat toon grinds the normal way, I do both.
You say the answer to your 5 minute load time would be met by the grinders moving 50 meters away, well log out 50 meters away if you think it helps.
And whats with 'oh lord and master', you post inferring that some people are either 9 years old, mentally impaired, and now physically impaired (yes, some people cannot use both a mouse and a keyboard at the same time), as though such people are not allowed to play. You are the one coming here telling people what to do, not I. Did you expect to be so insulting and not receive any response?
I am truely sorry you are forced to go to a highly populated area to play the game, but that is not the fault of the people there.

Anyone who can AFK kill/rezzing is CHEATING - If you can prove it /report them.
Anyone blocking an NPC (or doorway with a mission term) is GRIEFING /report them.

hey man i dont care if u dont like it personaly i do the DB/REZ grind BUT I dont stand on top of peamos i go and sit in a little corner in one of the huts. YOU can get out af AURILIA if u dont want it to happen and the 5 min load times? umm are u logging off in aurilia? ever thought of logging off somewhere els?

On Chilastra that hut with the opening that looks on to Paemos is rather popular for the Doc grinders. Hell, I don't mind them too much as many are running semi-attended macros so that they can move in and cash their XP with Paemos and then continue on. This means looking for a buff may be reasonable at the Village. There are those who do it outside within reach of Paemos, but luckily the Village is pretty empty most of the time that this isn't such an enormous issue.
Of course, the problem I face with this is the difficulty of getting into a sologroup, confounded by the damned bots in the mining outpost. Start a live group, and if it doesn't immediately have 10 people, clowns will drop out and wait in line for a damned bot rather than give it the three minutes it takes to get everyone in line into a group and get going on whatever it is they would like to be doing.

Yes, you are clearly missing the point. Have I not said somewhere on the frequency of half a dozen times that they are doing so AFK? Have not OTHER people in this thread stated as well that it is being done AFK?
Please go back and read the thread again if you missed it, as I just did.
Now to address your points:
1) I don't care how YOU play YOUR game, I care when YOU and people LIKE you impede MY play by being an autopilot idiot. If you ARE incapable of actually playing the game yourself, in person, as a PLAYER then please go somewhere else. Stop F'ing up the game for those of us who do not want to stoop to your childish tactics to get ahead of other players, and would rather simply enjoy being a part of the Star Wars experience. Think you could try that, little buddy?
2) Your understanding of rendering mechanics seems to be either flawed or limited, so I will explain this in little words: logging out 50 meters away will NOT remove those objects from the rendering palette when I approach the NPC that I must speak with. However, the autopilot idiots' moving out of view WILL remove them from the rendering palette and thus eliminate my 5 minute wait to accomplish something I have been paying to play for 2 YEARS like many other people to accomplish. Think we could try playing nice with the other kids there, fellah?
3) As to your attempt to make this into a 'political correctness' thing because I make inference to those with a clear inability to manage playing this game, try something better because that is both pathetic and low. Would you let a 9-yo hang out in a bar simply because they weren't permitted to drink? NO. Because they would still be exposed to elements that are inappropriate to children. That is why there is an AGE ADVISORY to this game, and I am tired of tweaker infants and you autopilot idiots screwing up the game for those of us who actually want to PLAY it.

Are you implying that your entire spew of verbal diahrrea here is now invalid because the Devs have programmed your CHARACTER to stand in the way and grind incessantly while you are somewhere else? EVERYONE is responsible for their OWN choices, buddy, including your lordship. Why don't you come back when you are able to take ownership of your actions.
To those others who have borne witness to this exchange, I do apologize that it had to be in a public forum. If there had been some medium by which I could have beamed one of the autopilot idiots to my location and had them set upon by a pack of wild, rabid, starving dogs I would have saved you all my uncouth behavior.

Moving away from Paemos is all I am asking, and thank you. The grinding in the hut would be plenty because it would take those moving objects out of the rendering pallette and save everyone else the load spam and delays.
I am not logging out in Aurilia, because the one time I did so it took 15 minutes to login when I returned. I am talking about 2-3 minutes of chopping, breaking and overunning and bypassing things because every individual in the area must load, as well as the 2-3 minutes of delay while I wait for the conversation to occur because the server is laboring under the weight of all the activity.
I wont even go into trying to conduct a mission out of Aurilia.

For those of us who do this afk, moving away from Paemos is not an option. If it makes you feel any better, we are only there a max of four days and then we are finished with senses.
