I pay to buy the resources..... the 1 mill to get the tree is the cheap part.
it's the 77 million to fill them up that I can't do.
the XP requirements for crafters needs an extreme balance. I'm making way better progress on the combat one... as soon as vehicle control is open I'm already several boxes up.
If you run a vendor it's only a matter of time until you have any force sensative senses tree... I've picked up survey and even that is far further along then my crafting despite me making 45 suits of armor and about 5 of them w/o factories. This I expect will take years at the current rate of crafting xp gains.
my 2 cents.

These quests are for the "FS" tree, not the Jedi tree. They lead to the Jedi tree, but the devs articles were written to say that you could, even as a crafter, gain FS skills to augment any profession and then make the choice to either pursue Jedi after that or not.

Much along my own lines of thinking for this quest. Other alternatives might be letting the people that do the surveying mission continually be able to survey for resources. Possibly even with harvestors, Assuming you can get them to stack. I don't seehow the varying stats from each resource adds to the overall design. Might as well give all of each kind the same value so you can make them stackable. Or at least different stackable ones. Like an excellent drop which would stack with all the other excellents. Along witha good, fair, poor, horrible values. Something like that.

I don't plan on doing any of the crafting quests but this is the least they can do. Come on devs, do the right thing!

/sign i got screwed out of even being able to do phase 2 crafting quest and have had to resort to kill stealing just to get resources to do phase 3, i know this may be frowned upon but i CANNOT afford to pay the large amounts of money to complete this quest...
