Hey Ibid I was starting to wonder about this. Does anyone know if meele defence and speed..etc carry over into the jedi phase? If not it would be no use and I'll just do easy grinds as well. What did you mean when you posted the above quote and can you explain? Also say im using a reg char and complete the padawan trials, this same charecter will be the jedi right? It won't transfer the jedi slot to a new char?? Thanks

Basically, as soon as I saw the old man, killed the Sith and got the village WP, I went straight there and started a quest. A friend then told me I had to speak with the green guy, and I converted XP. Then I realised how I could do free unlocks and proceeded to get Melee Defense and Melee Accuracy... which I could have easily ground. INstead I should have done this whole process the other way around, and chosen branches from skills I couldn't grind (like maybe Jedi Luck).

Oh well, I just wanna make sure I don't hurry through the grind now and end up with skills I can't use later.

ok this question has probably been asked and answered and asked again... and again.....

Does the crafting FS skills do anything for the Jedi who is crafting his lightsabre? And is there any food or clothing that will help produce a better weapon?

I have really been trying to figure out what FS skills I want to learn, not too worried about time. I will be 100% melee by the time I get to Initiate. This is what I have come up with, please let me know if its worth beans........

Village Phase 1: Nothing

Village Phase 2: Combat Prowess: Melee Speed ( hmmm good for swordsman )

Village Phase 3: Combat Prowess: Melee Accuracy ( hitting target is good )

Village Phase 4: Enhanced Reflexes: Melee Defense

Village Phase 1: Nothing

Village Phase 2: Enhanced Reflexes: Vehicular Control ( will this be good to have for JTLS? )

Village Phase 3: Enhanced Reflexes: Ranged Defense

Village Phase 4: Nothing

Village Phase 1: Nothing

Village Phase 2: Heightened Senses: Luck ( dont we all want to be/get lucky? )

BTW, what phase is the village in? and is there a way to check? like /tellmephaseNOW or /WT* i mean /wtp

Thanks

Agreement with all the positive posts! great info and has been very helpful - thanks

On one of my characters, who was a post-9, pre-10 unlocker - unlocked and trained the 6 free unlocks fully. After that, this char was doing some Dantooine missions when 2 (not 1) old fellas appeared at the exact same timeto chat about Mellichae...

One said that he'd give me a wp to his his camp. After he vanished, the 2nd followed me around for a while but wouldnt talk to me (no suprise there) and eventually the 2nd went away saying "he'd come back later". No wp appeared from the 1st, but the journal does contain an entry to "defeat Mellichae at his camp" or some such.

I guess the wp may appear again in due course eventually as the usual business of disconnecting/reconnecting etc did not bring me a wp to Mellichae.

Just found it kinda amusing that two appeared at the same time..

from what I've read and heard jedi will have no influence in space so vehicular control is only good for speeders on the ground

Important! If you do not have any unlocks, you will need 50k of converted xp for the Novice skill, WHICH YOU MUST DO BEFORE YOU START THE QUESTS!

Either he is incorrect, or it has changed. I just was able to get to the village, and I didnt have any free unlocks, first NPC I found was Whip as I entered the village. Since I wanted the Mele Defense I went ahead and took the quest tp rescue the villagers.

Make sure you walk the villagers back to the village, it's not like the other rescue someone and then leave them and you still pass mission. Villager must actually enter the village.

I was able to without any problem able to unlock the enhanced senses tree. I am a power gamer I guess since I play about 7 hours a day, and so far since getting to the village am really close totraining my first melee skill box.

I'm a Master Commando, so will have to test the Photon Grenade idea that someone posted earlier for making FS XP easier.

I agree...I was able to start the Combat Prowess quest BEFORE I got 50K FS points and trained the Novice box. Maybe the requirement is to get the 50K novice points done before the Quest can be completed as appossed to started??? Not sure as I did train the 50K Novice box shortly after doing 3 or 4 patrols.

Also, I ended up doing 22 total patrol missions before I got the banner and no more quests available. Somehow my quest journal had the correct number of patrols I completed but somewhere along the way(before I completed my first 10)the count that the Captain showed was 1 less than what my quest journal showed....however I still unlocked and completed the quest whith a count of 9 from the Captain but 10 on my journal. But when I completed my 20th quest the Captain still said I had 19 and sent me on another patrol....

AND for my last patrol(number 22 at this point) I was told by the captain to go do it again( "do it right this time") LOL and I believe it was because I decided to engage a raiding party that was forming hehe...so my guess is since I did not follow specific instructions to avoid over 3 Sith, then I still did not get credit even though I completed all patrol points and killed any Sith in groups of 3 or less(I only killed 1 Sith in the raiding party before I decide to abort and move on lol)?? Anyone else engage any raiding parties and have to do the patrol over???
