does the FS enhanced passive defense mods take a char over the 125 cap? IMO a serious question, surely its been tested with the hordes of ppl attaining these skills and beyond, not to mention the dream template TC's yaddi yadda....

is the attainment of padawan, or initiate or whatever permanent? ie they cannot be bounty killed past this theshold back into force sensitivity? either or seems like an awful lot of work to get padawan only to be regularly owned by MBH/CM's....

wouldn't it be a perfect world if the force system had been like this from the get go? as in so much harder to become a jedi, i personally would have alot more respect for jedi, and probably wouldnt be waiting for WoW so earnestly....

Question: Am I required to have medic skills in order to unlock the Persuasion branch?
I've heard that the quest involves healing 5 villagers.

Ther curious part is that while I am able to convert scouting, trapping and survival (non-medic) xp into Heightened Senses (aka Persuasion) FS xp, I cannot complete the quest unless I have medic skills (or arguably a medic to help me). Is this correct? Does this mean I will need someone's help, if I want to unlock the persuasion branch?

no you dont get another toon my friend just did the padawan trials and her current character is jedi initiate.. why would you do all the work of jedi trials with your character only to have another character take its place, that's just retarded.

The toon she did all this on IS the Jedi... but she can now create a 2nd character on the same server with the same account. The Devs have stated that when you get Padawan you unlock a 2nd character slot but if you want that 2nd character slot to be Jedi you need to grind up that character and do everything again.

So yes.... her original character is a Jedi (you are correct there). But have her now create a 2nd toon on Naritus (and NOT delete her first toon) and she should be able to ... thus giving her 2 character slots on the same server with one account.

The following below is "Incorrect" information.

Important! If you do not have any unlocks, you will need 50k of converted xp for the Novice skill, WHICH YOU MUST DO BEFORE YOU START THE QUESTS!

This is not true. I was a "fresh" starter with no free unlocks. I had zero force sensitive experience and did the Ranged Accuracy quest twice in a row - "once to unlock", and "twice to gain the banner". After I did these two, I started to work on gaining exp and converted the experience I gained to 50k of novice combat prowress force sensitive experience. Since this time, I'm almost finished with the 4th box of ranged accuracy now.

Again, this is incorrect information. Please change it. You do not have to have the first 50k to start the quests.

No, it isn't. I read posts about and had PM information from half a dozen people warning me that, if they did not first train Novice, they had problems training the skills. A possible bug, at any rate, I offered the above warning to ensure that no one else is caught unawares. Sure, you don't have to, but I would advise it, based on the reports I've had from people.

At the end of the day the guide is here to help people navigate the trials and solve problems before they occur, and any information herein is with that in mind.

Ithiris,

Awesome guide. Shame I didn't read it before I went to the village... I unlocked the skills I thought would be most useful, and then realised I should have unlocked skills I couldn't have easily grinded...

Just wanted to know your thoughts on whether it's worth taking longer to get the FS skills that might be useful in the future (for me, I'm TKM.MasterSwords.MasterBrawler, so all the melee skills really), or whether I should just get what I can in each cycle to get to Jedi quicker. Are these skills droppable in the future, or are you stuck with them even once you drop all your non-FS skills?

Also, if you can't go back to get these quests again, might it not be worth doing a tree just to get the reward? Some of the rewards seem amazing... the buff crystals especially. Mightn't it be worth doing one extra cycle just to get one of these?

On a related point, if I've unlocked a branch can I no longer do the quest during the cycle in which it appears? E.g. I used a free unlock on Combat Prowess: Melee Accuracy, but I want to get the Mind crystal.

And are the ranged skills really not usefull for Jedi? I don't know if you can shed any light on this, but I was wondering whether Ranged skills might be applicable to Saber Throw...?

Many thanks.

Hey Ibid I was starting to wonder about this. Does anyone know ifmeele defence and speed..etc carry over into the jedi phase? If not it would be no use and I'll just do easy grinds as well. What did you mean when you posted the above quote and can you explain? Also say im using a reg charand complete the padawan trials, this same charecter will be the jedi right? It won't transfer the jedi slot to a new char?? Thanks

First I'm going to say sorry to Ithirisbecause I didn't read the whole guide before offering information so if it's container herein I'm sorry!

Whip gives scouting type missions however you don't need these skills to complete his missions. If you unlock Survival I (Via Whip's Phase 1 quest) you can actually set up camp without scout, don't know what else you can do but I've tried the camp thing and it works. As for not being able to use the scouting xp for this branch I think that's kind of odd as well but it's what the Dev's decided we needed to do.

A suggestion for another good place to grind xp is Imp Vs. Reb battlefields you can gain FP as well which can be exchanged for combat xp (3:1 fs exchange) so that is also another option.
