I am working on the grind to Master Smuggler and in the midst of the Slicing tree. I have noticed that I am slicing terminals now and it gives me XP but that the XP doesnt translate to the skill tree. ie Im not progressing in the slicing line unless I'm using pistols XP instead. Is Slicing XP useless now or am I just not being patient enough?

I couldn't find any mention of this...

Slicing now seems to require Pistol XP... you can still earn Slicing XP by... well Slicing... but it doesn't show up anywhere.

I'm sure this HAD to have been listed somewhere already, just couldn't find it.

Wes... and update on this?

true slicing xp is gone from the "grind" but it is still there for fs xp transfer.

the ONLY place i have found to check how much you have tho, is in the skills window (lightning bolt icon). on the left side of the screen in the middle it lists all the xp you have gained without you having to click on the box to show how much you need to grind. (im not good at descriptives so if someone can help me out with that if what i said doesnt make sense.)

anyways, in that list, just scroll down and you will see slicing xp. i dont know what the cap for it is, but its probably the same as pre-cu

fyi wilderness xp is the same way. (the only way ive seen to get wilderness xp is to set up a camp /shrug)

I highly recommend fishing with a good rod (insert Yimaz joke here) It's slightly more entertaining than sitting in a camp, and you can usually find an merchant or architect vendor who'll buy the fish, and BE's who'll buy the meat.

Oh wait, I haven't fished for 2 weeks - they haven't nerfed the wilderness xp for fishing now have they?

Just one question here. Whats happened to slicing xp? I'm sure I read on Forums somewhere that Weapon and Armor Slicing no longer gives 'Slicing XP' but Terminals and Containers do give 'Slicing XP'.

If this is case can someone look into it as I have been receiving NO Slicing XP at ALL for anything.

If there is to be no more 'Slicing XP' Thanks a bunchthere goes my HALF FILLED Luck branch on FORCE SENCES. Slicing XP was all I hade to use in those Branches.

The only thing that was left giving slicing XP after the CU was terminals and that was considered a bug. They fixed the bug and removed all slicing XP.

No longer a valid experience type in the game.

Were you seriously grinding out the Luck tree with slicing XP? Doesn't that take like.... 1342 hours?

thier is nolong sliceing xp or spice crafting xp as smugler is now 100% pistal xp only
