Those people who harp on about 'I make my money from crafting' please bear the following in mind. Money comes from missions. Those who do the missions pay the crafters, either directly or indirectly (through other crafters).
With less money 'in the system' people will gradually lower the price they will pay.
For example, doc buffs have risen in price over the past 6 months as people get richer and so are prepared to pay more. If they get 5k per mission rather than 13k per mission then they are likely to want to pay less...
So this change WILL have an effect upon everyone that is not already rich.
It's a simple matter of the economics of MMORPGs
- Money comes from missions
- It circles in the overall 'pool' for a while
- The game design has cash sinks (like maintenance costs or shuttle charges) that take some money out of the 'pool'
The 'pool' just got a smaller supply....

Has only one person tried solo grouping since the Patch?
The Devs screwed up ! You still get full payout for missions, as long as you are beyond range of the other group members.( just like it has always been)
I ran solo missions for 4 hours last night, without a hitch. xp in a solo group still works the same also.
But ,now you get to see more of SOE's onscreen spam.

its all about the xp for me, and as far as money im a doc so i make my money off of buffs.

gotta agree with u there...i started out selling waterto docs. 1cpu radioactive is even faster money
