Wow, I think I got the best deal here on Sunrunner. 30k per crate for C22s, 40k for thermals.

60k-90k on Radiant. Farstar is a very expesive Galaxy... a buff cost around 16k...

our buffs are 10k
and these buffs are very good too like 2500 and 3 hours and some minutes(very good(but not uber)
not like on bria where ppl charge 15k for 2300 and 2hour 45 min ones (#%@# them i see it alot there)

Holy Smack, and everyone said Scylla had inflated prices.
IMP Dets I found for 30-37K per crate (2100 Damage w/o powerup). Therms were 75-100K (1800 damage w/o powerup).
However, the cheapest way is to have FRIENDS! Most guilds/cities have a weaponsmith, get to know them. My guild's weaponsmith made me 25 crates of thermals and all I had to do was shop for the materials. He mailed me a list of all stuff, and it cost me about 40K to buy all the stuff.
I would recommend IMP dets though, lower armor piercing, so not as much collateral damage to yourself, and significantly higher damage with a 33% power up. And go for damage powerups, not speed, I almost killed myself a few times because I was hitting myself for more damage speed-wise than my buffs could heal with my armor on.

I use imperial and thermal ones for grinding, I have TKM, Commando 4000, Novice Medic and a little Scout.
Now the calculation:
With a nice group I need 4 lairs for capping my combat exp
I need 6-8 grenades per lair
That means I need around 1 crate of 25 grenades for capping.
It needs 1 million and 225k fs exp for completing a full tree.
That means I need to cap around 13 times, so we have around 13 crates for 1 full tree of fs exp.
1 crate of imperials costs around 225k, this would lead to 2925k credits for 1 tree
1 crate of thermals costs around 170k, this would lead to 2210k credits for 1 tree
I use both around even, so my costs are around 2.5 millions for 1 tree.
All 6 trees therefor cost around 15 million credits, and additionally you need to grind the novice boxes.
I hope this helps you deciding if you would like to grind with grenades or not.
Note: prices are those on FarStar, if you play on a different Server you may have higher or lower costs.
