I have 2 jedi and all I can say is it is way harder now than it ever was. I got all my FS exp in 8 days with nades. With this change it will take new comers twice as long and an even more boring mindless grind. Grinding is for people who have nothing else in life to do, lol. I personally would not and did not grind hours upon hours for jedi. If I started the jedi thing now I would not make it for sure. Hell, I wouldnt care if they made jedi a starting profession...its just a game. Oh, and jedi is not that big of a deal with this CU. Your not all powerful like we used to be. I personally hate jedi now and dont play them. Im waiting for a publish to make non master defenders viable.


First Jedi: Master Powers/Master Lightsaber/Healer 4400

Second Jedi: Master Lightsaber/Master Enhancer/Healer 4004 <---my favorite template but is not what it should be.


**I will never pick the template that is uber, I never did the defense stacker way back then and I wont do it now. Tell me....what the heck is so fun about master defender? Nothing is jedi about it, might as well be a defense stacker with a glowy.

Not at all sir. Had you actually read my post you'd note that my current Jedi is a CL5 double elite CRAFTING master. So he doesn't count in regards to conversations regarding combat grinding.


Since my alt is my first attempt at Jedi doing combat, I'm in exactly the same boat as you.


I just don't whine about it...

The nerfWAS to do with the grenades, as grenades get the same XP (in Combat XP) as weapons XP, so now they have the same ratio. If it was to slow down the jedi population then they would have made Combat XP ratio 6:1 and Weapons XP 60:1 or something, which effectively does the same thing.


Medic XP was changed because that now after the CU gets the same XP as wepaons XP.

You're out of time, SOE The whole 2.5 months shouldn't have been. The game was fine up until Nov 15th. If the CU was worked on, instead of devoting time to the NGE (including the many months prior to November), the game could possibly be totally bug free by now.

My account cancels on 2nd Feb, which was a waste as only played game for 1 day to get the life day gifts, will be resubbing when creature handler, Bio-engineer, scout, and ranger return, oh and the FS village.

grenades where in play for atleast 14 months before they nerfed it. It was the conversion ratio pre vs post CU, cause xp post CU was so much easier to get...
