Maybe the village should be more quest based than XP grinding base. I took me about 1 hour to finish the quest. I would have like 5 weeks of a grind. I think quest missions over a grind would be better.

You are partially correct with the double xp. It was deplorable that they made the fsxp conversion double also.


But nade spammers with the inflated max in combat xp should have been disallowed from the beginning. It could have been made the same as heavy weapons xp but once again more problems are caused by a simple lack of common sense.

Change nades to HW xp, and change the combat ratio back. Simple as that.

the nerf had nothing to do with nades, why do everyone still think that? if it was, then why oh why did they in the same patch change medic xp from 10:1 to 30:1... !?!?!, they did it to slow down jedi overpop.

I have double elite melee profession (I DONT CHUCK NADES) and here's what I notice.


When I level up my polearms and unarmed, I end up with 40,000 xp for each maxxed (so 80,000xp total) plus mabe another 8000 or so from combat xp (which I don't bother to max anymore)


I'd hardly call this a game breaking change, and it would barely slow me down.

Uh, no they won't. Cause guess what, this change doesn't effect current Jedi in any way. So this change isn't going to help with seeing less Jedi, just a slower increase, and probably not much slower. Nerf pretty much just the hardcorers do it now, tons of people doing Phase IV at the Village for the XP and not unlock when I went there. XP gold mine. And a mere 200m from Paemos no less.

First of all we cannot change the fact that we apparently started playing this game long before you did. Stop whining at us Jedi we didnt develop the game we just play it.




Second I did not know anything about nades until I had nearly 5 columuns of FS filled so not everybody nades the entire way throughhowever I decided to use the resources available to me at the time to gain the best return on my hard work. Anywhere else this is smart business, you just happened to start too late!




Third Your just angry because you CANNOT nade your way throughnow !!


Lastly I'll be glad when school starts so all you whining brats will have homework to do instead of sheading tears in the forum.

No sir, you did not start playing before me, I have been playing this game since release day, are you any more deserving than me? nope, not a chance, so check the leetist attitude at the door. After 2 years I am finally close to Jedi and they want to push it that much further away in a knee-jerk reaction change that punishes legitimate players MORE than the exploiters? Sorry, but thats bad business, and a really poorly thought out change. Needs to be fixed back to 3:1, and nades need to have their own xp, counting as 30:1, end of story.

I DO have a Jedi, and I am currently working on a second under this "terrible" new system of 30:1 combat XP as a full-bore combat toon unlike my main who was and is a crafter. A FS Master Crafter / WS / SW / CL5 Padawan.


I have NO boxes let alone trees done on my alt.


That being said, I say hooray for this change.


I have always wanted to see Jedi become the profession for the seriously, most deeply committed people. If this encourages that moreso than previously than I'm all for it. The grind will be long, but that is perfectly fine by me.


There's certainly a lot of whine in your post, would you like some cheese to go with it?

Apparently I am more deserving that you because i've done what it takes to complete it. You've been here 2 yrs and 'complain' that someone has a jedi and you do not? Is it my fault I set a goal and focused on it and accomplished it? Quit looking for handouts.


If you've paid $15/mo and didnt accomplish jack then you got no one to blame but yourself. Dont blame other jedi or the dev's for your lack of motivation.
