Yes great guide. Last time I tried this mission (it was my first phase at village) I only had two days to do it. Noone seemed to want to explain it ingame so It was unsuccessful. I didn't know you could have multiple base disks from looting. hopefully this will make the mission going smoothly. Gonna take it blow by blow tommorrow. Thks again

If i remember correctly there will be 5 siths spawning per groupmember so it could be wise to keep the group small. Or even have 2 groups, one with the shield dropper and the capturer and one as support...
Nice guide!

as a sort of added note: i got 2 regular proff people, and 2 jedi to come along, was a piece of cake, as long as the regulars keep the thugs taunted and intimidated, the jedi cut through them like a knife through butter

Thanks Rocket this was truly a helpful guide. I would like to add a few things to help make this a little more duplicatable for everyone. I took me a few tries cause people don't always listen in a group and there were a few things we discovered that weren't in your post or we didn't do right. But had this not been the case it would have worked the first time. So hopefully people reading this will be able to accomplish this mission right off the bat. I completed this quest literally 20 minutes before the CU upgrade happened. So I'm not sure if the CU has rendered any of this information obsolete. You can be in a group that is as big as you want or as small as you want. I would recommend a minimum of 4 CL 80 people. Make sure that before you take the shield down you have knocked out the 2 turrets on either side of the front gate and that the only people actually "grouped" are those doing the mission. If the turrets aren't knocked out before the shield is taken down itcould take more than the 30 seconds you have to take them out along with the frontgate, the third turret and the 2nd gate. If you have more than 2 people grouped when you take the 2nd gate down you'll have all kinds of thugs spawn on you. More than you can handle even if you have 4 CL 80 people (unless they made the thugs weaker). The bigger the group the more thugs spawn. You want everyone to gather together as close to the front gate as you can get before you drop the shields. Remember that until the shield is dropped there are no thugs in front of the base or surrounding the base. The only thugs area couple ofpatrols 200m away from the base. Make sure that everyone rushes in at the same time once the shield is dropped and that everyone is helping to attack the gates and turret to make it go faster. Once you have taken out the 1-2 thugs that spawn after the 2nd gate isdestroyed(its also possible that none will spawn) you can sit there inside the base inrelative safety and pull in the thugs1 or 2 at a time. You probably don't want to use taunt here since I've noticed post-CU it aggro's the whole mob. Use a ranged weapon to pull them and have only one person doing the pulling while everyone else stays inside the back of the base. To many people pulling or running around and you could have the whole lot of thugs on you. The sequence for the thugs is spawn, group, scatter, group and despawn. Each cycle is about 10 minutes. Try not to pull during the grouping phases or you could get more than you want. Make sure both people doing the quest get hits on 5 thugs. Once you kill your 5 thugs the commander will spawn so youcan capture him. You can then run out of there without the hoard of thugs paying to much attention to you. You companions may need to burst run out of there. Once clear make sure they catch up to you andsurround you for the journey back to the village because you can't stop for any reason. You have to keep the commander moving or he'll take the poison. Even if something jumpsyou, keep running. If you get KD'd by a force wielding NS stalker get up and run. Make sure the commander doesn't get too far away from you either. The best idea is to keep your original targeting from the capture on him, never click off it. Then you get the detail about how far behind you he is (he is one slow bastage). If you do happen to click off him after the capture then use your ctrl M overhead map to keep tabs on him. He needs to stay within 40m of you.If he gets too far back you can stop for a second or2 to let him close the gap a little. Ohers have suggested zig zagging but I found that didn't work as well cause your running between NS camps and mobs trying to avoid the aggro. Using hills to close the gap also helps unless you have mega terrain negotiation. Hope this helps clear up a few things for people doing this quest. It's probably one of the toughest and most frustrating I've ever done. I wish we had done it right the first time and I wish I couldsay it was worth it getting the crystal but unfortunately it's for mind buffs which means nothing now, DOH! I'm just glad it's over with.
