Thread: How do i get crystals now?

Maybe it is Jedi Population control?
Or probably more likely it is that since they added the other new "high end" loot to the tables our roles for high end loot we are getting schematics instead of crystals.

i still loot plenty of Clear Crystals off Nightsisters. Right after the solo group nerf i hardly got anything but not it seems to righted itself. The other night i got at least 5 of them off nightsisters and another one yesterday and i only killed the NS cuz she took out my bike. Havnet hunted Mokk or Janta in a while but noticed that i got mostly color from them. As it stands i have roughly 50 or so power crystals just sitting in a pack in my house collecting dust. And around 20 or so color. One of these days ill do something with the dang things...but from what i can tell, they still loot farily often for me from NS

Maybe I should try another Korga run. Perhaps they fixed the problem with one of the hot fixes that came after the loot patch.

I looted five crystals from nightsisters yesterday. Two colors and three clears. So they do still drop, but it is indeed at a lower rate.

just wanted to know, any difference between the color crystal n the clear ones? i have been searching for a faq or something on crystals but i have yet to find one...

Color crystals are for lightsabre color and decoration, clear crystals are used to tune the lightsabre...I think....anyway....
Since I mastered Swordsman and TKA, I can take 4 NS Outcasts at one time....impressive kill rate and loot rate, right? Nope. Once and awhile I find a good spawn and kill 10-12 of them. I will also clean out the NS vs. SMC Battle POI...and the only things I have been pulling are useless NS lances with weak DOTS, Weak Vibro Axes and some heavy duty leather, IMP AND REBEL MESSAGE FRAGMENTS, locked containers, heavy duty clasps,
I also kill NS Sentrys, Sentinals, Rangers and the occasional Protector when I can kite her out solo (I can't take 4 of those at once...that is for sure.)
Weak drops...all of them.
So, I decided to hit the Nightspider Clan Cave POI...and I killed 12-16 of various levels of them...no loot at all...and then I pulled an Elder with 380000 HAM...which I got down to 340000 before giving up on her.
So, in summary, I have spent the better part of 3 weeks hunting SMC, NS, and NC for basically no loot...no crystals and have had to replace my armor once.

i got 3 crystals from tuskens 2 days ago, blue/green and purple ones
tusken fort or random spawns near the graveyard are my suggestion.
also, used to be able to get crystals off jinta, now all i get is 1unit of some organic lol

so the color crystal doesnt affect the stats of thelightsaber then? what about the stats of the color n clear crystals? will u get a good lightsaber stats if the crystal is good quality?

I was out hunting nightsisters yesterday, and in about 90 minutes I had collected 5 clear crystals, this was from NS protectors, spellweavers, outcasts, rangers and stalkers. Then a guildmate joined me and we took out 2 Elders, and looted a force crystal from each of them. As far as I can tell, there has not been a decrease in drop rate of crystals, although it does seem to go in cycles for me, sometimes I can do well like yesterday. Other times, I loot no crystals and get a bunch of clasps or junk NS armor shards/layers.
Anyways, just my observations.

/agree. Yesterday I went to the SMC vs. NS battlefield and cleared the field, 1 or 2 at a time of course, and nothing but credits along with 1weak DOT lance.

Could you all post your crystal-hunt findings here? After reading this and other similar threads, I think we might have an issue.
