Jantas usually give clear
It seems the Jantas are nerfed also.I use to get clear and color crystals every other Janta Shaman. Now I have not gotten a single drop since the loot patch / solo group nerf. ![]()
I might have to take up the Luck branch like another player mention. ![]()
Now for the weird thing. My Corbantis Toon is still getting crystal drops, but my Eclipse toon is not getting anything.
Go figure. ![]()

Those tuskens that roam tatooine, i usually saw them when i was heading from bestine to the squill cave. got 1 clear crystal from a captain, the others are from sniper, raider n warlords. heck i even got the tapestry and tanning hide schematic from them as well. It happened last week. Prolly it's just luck as well.

I got a really nice blue crystal from a Singing Mountain Clan Escaped Slave today, as well as a nice clear crystal from an NS stalker the other day

I finally got 1 clear last night off a Nightsister after days and days of nothing.(Days and daysmeaning since the solo group nerf and the loot patch. ) I was happy to get that, but seeing you got 7 makes me feel unspecial again.

Tusken Chiefs and Captains drop crystals adhesives and schematics more than any other tusken. Go to FT Tusken when no one is around and they seem to drop okay. I have never been as lucky as others and loot 4 or 5 at a time.
Also could the crystal drop nerf be another way of Jedi population control? If you cant get the crystals to grind your jedi with you cant play your jedi? Nah just paranoia.

I decided to take a break from my pistoleer grind and check this out myself. Over the course of 3 days I got a total of zero crystals on Dant. I was getting level 75 max missions since it was just my AT-ST and myself grouped. I went one day (2 buff sets) doing Janta and the next all Mokk while the third day was whatever came up over 30k first.
It has been a while since I did these missions but I definately remember the drop rate being much higher than none per 18 hours played, even on the under level 100 missions.

Correct. I had 34 crystals stock-piles before the Patch. After the Patch, one blue crystal, and its been what, a good month?

I hope this is not a nurf, for several reasons. If the devs think there are to many crystals entering the market, I’d suggest exactly what I did when pearl sploit farming was out of control: make them lootable only by Jedi. Let me qualify that statement by saying, I am not a Jedi. So this is not self-interest.

It does seem to have dropped some what, but I'm in agreement with the other highend loot making that part of the percentage..
If a "rank XX" loot drops for example, 1/100, and "rank XX" includes such loot as Crystals, Schematics or some such, then that's more loot in that level of loot so it's obvious we will start to see less Crystal drops.
Only reason I've for certain noted this drop is our PA collects them, we have about 150 various damage & colour crystals, and used to guarantee several per session when we went out on hunts or whatever.
Since the patch we've only looted around 6-10 or so... so the numbers certainly see to gravitate toward more potential loot items at that end of the loot table, hence the derth of crystals we're now seeing.
