How about once you get jedi, allowing jedi xp to convert to FS xp at a 1:1 ratio. This would allow jedi the ability to change their current FS trees and eliminate a lot of headaches of being stuck with trees you dont want.

Not flaming or saying you did just making a statement that this would not be fair for those who put the time to get the FS boxes through combat

Jedi XP converting, sure. That makes perfect sense to me.

Starship combat xp converting?? No. Terrible idea. Space and Jedi / FS should have absolutely no intersection at all, just as it is now. A level 1 crafter should not be able to acquire combat-specific knowledge of the Force by flying a dunelizard. It doesn't make sense and threatens to unbalance the FS skills.

Does starship crafting XP convert to FS crafting? THAT makes sense, since crafting is crafting.

I've heard the idea about Jedi XP converting to FS before. Personally I like it a lot, seems like a sharp idea and would allow Jedi to retemplate FS without hurting other FS people or other Jedi. But I gotta tell you, starship combat xp / pilot prestige converting to FS xp is a gawd-awful idea.

jedi xp is earned through combat, so whats the problem using it to convert to fs xp? theres hardly anything lazy about grinding jedi xp regardless of what they did during the fs grind. and it is not asking for a respec even.

It would be a really bad idea. Unless it was set to something really high like a 1:3000 ratio or something. Space XP is so incredibly easy to get. On top of that you can increase your rate of XP earned by mastering different pilot profs. Now you may say someone has earned that privilege if they go to the trouble of mastering Imp Pilot and then Neutral Pilot. But you already gained the advantage from doing so by getting more Pilot XP. You don't need a second reward. Especially since you already had it easier going up the second time already. Pilot XP caps at 7.5 million. Only one type of XP but far above what any other prof caps at. Pilot costs 0 SP. For virtually no investment you can flash through FS XP.

The only problem is reconciling the total seperation of the two in game when compared to the movies and other stuff. Obviously both Luke and Anakin used the Force in space. But as the game is currently set up the two are incompatible.

Personally, I think the FS grind should be important like it is now. If you want specific skills then you better grind that specific xp to get those skills. I understnad how most people can be upset when people AFK dancers to convert to FS xp. Those people shouldn't then be able to go back and pick combat related FS skills.
