Thread: Force Sensitive Players MUST be rewarded/ compensated
I've been doing the FS village for about a year, to get the crafting mastery, and to get the skills from it to benefit my AS/WS char, and also to get my 2nd slot.
EVERYTHING I have done has now been a complete waste of time, as 1) The skills won't matter in the new AS/WS professions and 2) There is no way I'm going to finish the grind in time, as there isn't enough time to harvest enough resources, and don't have enough credits to buy all what I need. I need to craft 10706 moreX-34s to finish, which I reckon I could do if had enough resources which I don'tor craft 27373 Advanced Droid Frames, which I have enough resources but takes 2.5 times longer to do than X-34s

Look at it this way: would it be fair for a novice rifleman to respec to master rifleman just because he ran out of time? You haven't had to invest the time or effort that Jedi have to earn the reward. Again no offense, and not saying that you didn't attempt to get to Jedi, but you don't deserve the reward of a Jedi if you haven't completed the path.
Some of us have actually put in considerably more effort than many jedi.
29 professions pre-P8.
Somehow failed to get five 'free' unlocks for that.
Do the village quests to unlock like everyone else.
Grind xp like anyone else.
So, uh. Yeah. Bad on me for not grinding like crazy pre-CU. Bad on me for sticking to TK post-CU, finding I couldn't actually get xp at any reasonable rate, and going away for a while. Bad on me for coming back, re-getting mbh, re-getting mcommando, and grinding fs:reflexes xp.... to find out the FIRST NOTICE I had a time limit was less than 2 weeks before it would become impossible to complete.
P8/P9, and the CU, were horrible on people that were partway. I was there, it hit me in the teeth. THIS is different though. Unlike before, where you could, if you put your time into it, finish anyway... there will be no finishing after the publish. Those who finish before the change will have things those who do not CANNOT GET. No previous massive adjustment has had this issue.
If they handed out crystals and robes to every FS character, and 2nd character slots to EVERYONE (which, honestly, should be a requirement in a game where you're locked into a class period, unless you delete), I'd find it fine.And I have a sneaking suspicion I'd feel the same way if I'd gotten it on profession #6 way, way back when the christmas holocrons came out.

right, the jedi in the NGE are not the jedi we worked for. thats why most people are pissed off. glad we did not waste anymore time? they are literally turning months of work and subscription fees into a waste of time. We could have done much more with our time, if we had known what is about to happen.

I finished this horrible grind back in Aug. and I feel it is so wrong to shaft the players still working hard in this grind. You should get something for all that mind numbing work!
I also believe that every1 should be able to work up to elder status when so many noobs dont even deserve the status.....
So it's only fair that ever1 be able to work to elder status, hell i've lost 3 Jedi, i just got 1 back lol.
The fact this is happening, just sucks.
All other major changes in the game, have had months of notice, why does this only get 10 days? About 3 months, like all other changes in game would have been fair, as the FS grind, as found out, isn't exactly a quick affair, and I've been playing game a lot more than a lot of people, and still doing the FS village, I unlocked all my skills about 2-3 cycles of the village ago, thats about 24-36 weeks ago, just been slowly getting the XP all this time, taking time out to do grinding, or giving up early as getting bored of grinding, as I thought we had forever, although had a horrible feeling something like this would happen, but not yet, and not out of the blue with a moments notice.If I knew about this 3 months ago that this was going to take place, I would have stuck at it, and finsihed it, and now if I don't finish in time, its all going to be for NOTHING. This is the mostcallous and evil thing that anyone has ever done, bar Sept 11th
That's what is disturbing me more than other. They were actually 3 months but they diodn't say this to us to sell more copies of the new expansion.
Why FS grinders should be rewarded? Because we are the core of the grinding process. I can't say how many noobs levelled up in groups thanks to the fact we lev80 were there to run the groups. We were there to do that job, not the crafters, not the core pvpers, not the jedi before the change of group-visibility. We had a big slap accross our face for this. Unapcettable!
I did the FS grinding with my jedi back with the solo groups. We moved the economy of the servers. We used buffs all the time, food/drinke, armor and weapons (back when the adk was far to be developed). Then I wanted to see the new and easy path of the village grinding in the CU. I managed to do this with a second toon. I got slapped at 33% of the work done. I am not complaining I want a jedi or an alt. I have them already.
More: we are left alone in the process due to the fact there is no FS correspondant. We had SonG and Baciacca as Jedi corresp, but they have their problems with jedi already. We are alone.
IMO we should be rewarded badly, not in cash, not in plaques but in substance. Let us complete the work. Make us the sole players that can have still access to the village. Let us do it.

....and I don't want a decoration as a rewarded either. I want something of value, maybe a robe and/orcrystal similar to those that will be given to jedis, but with slightly lower stats and DIFFERENT SKINS!
