I'm happy you're going to sneak in under the deadline, I wish I was.
So what if you'd had 4 (+1) unlocks, and were going to be short by one phase, even though you'd banked all the XP? You wouldn't care? Please don't tell me that, it's not very believable.

The fact this is happening, just sucks.
All other major changes in the game, have had months of notice, why does this only get 10 days? About 3 months, like all other changes in game would have been fair, as the FS grind, as found out, isn't exactly a quick affair, and I've been playing game a lot more than a lot of people, and still doing the FS village, I unlocked all my skills about 2-3 cycles of the village ago, thats about 24-36 weeks ago, just been slowly getting the XP all this time, taking time out to do grinding, or giving up early as getting bored of grinding, as I thought we had forever, although had a horrible feeling something like this would happen, but not yet, and not out of the blue with a moments notice.If I knew about this 3 months ago that this was going to take place, I would have stuck at it, and finsihed it, and now if I don't finish in time, its all going to be for NOTHING. This is the mostcallous and evil thing that anyone has ever done, bar Sept 11th

Exactly. FS players who have committed themselves for months should be compensated. Either let them finish the village quests or give the Jedi rewards to FS people as well.
ive been grinding jedi since september 2003 back when there were holocrons, we should get a 2nd character slot and the jedi perks.

Personally, I think it's onlyfair that we should be allowed to work towards gaining the Elder gifts, as we are all paying for the same game, we should all be allowed afair chance to play it in exactly the same way.

Oh, another ignorant thread....how unoriginal. Allow me to point out the obvious like many others have in many other threads in the FS and jedi forums.
All toons, of all professions, of all players ACTIVE at the launch of NGE will get the elder title and the elder buff, not just jedi. Please re-read, or read for the first time, Tiggs' FAQ. The ONLY thing current unlocked jedi will get others won'tis the section about special robes/crystals. How many times does Tiggs and players who read have to repeat that? So sad....

I agree with the above. We should be compensated or have our xp converted into the new skills.
I have spent 7 months doing the jedi village as a casual grinder with my alt.
I am Mayor of a Metropolis and that takes up most of my time but we did 2 weekly hunts for low level players to earn xp and my alt lead these.
So in 7 months of doing these hunts with low level players and absolutly no aoe i was slowly but surely getting there. 4 unlocks and around 8 branches unlocked.
We (i mean our city) will give the new game a chance but we have around 12 players the same as my alt with loss of force xp and many crafters who are also combat which they cannot do now. and to say thier unhappy is an understatement.
We may end up taking our community and setting up elsewhere on another proper role playing game and not this dummed down new version but we all love this game and hope to stay but if not then that will be around 60 cancelled accounts for SOE.
