Thread: Special Note about becoming Glowy
hi a rebel that's want to know how do you get a krayt hunter badge?
thank's ![]()

Folks,
You all need to council yourselves on this point: Learn the game before you rush off to become a Jedi.
If you are entering the village as anything but a level 80 combat character think again. If you are a crafter doing the village quests, learn combat. If you are a combat profession and you hate crafting you better learn how to craft effectively.
WHY?
Because once you become an initiate you will need ALL those skills to be successful.
As a Jedi I understand your decision to become glowy and start down this path, but learn the game mechanics first. Learn how to write a macro or two. Learn the difference between assembly and experimentation. Learn the difference between and great success and an amazing one.
Learn how to PVP. Jedi is a PVP class, if you do not wish to be involved with PVP do not go Jedi. I say this with great trepidation as someone I'm sure will not understand what that is alluding too. I will spell it out. Once you complete your trials you WILL be hunted by Bounty Hunters. Not maybe, not if, not "only if I'm stupid", YOU WILL BE HUNTED BY BOUNTY HUNTERS. If you do not wish to be hunted by some of the best PVP'ers, and lose experience points from your grind do not go Jedi. If you can handle the risks which are well known feel free. Farther down the road do not complain (as so many do now, sigh) about being hunted and losing XP.
And yes I was doing some of the testing for Bac, I took a level 80 wookiee, Rekojbacca (and alt of mine) glowy:
Ben kenobi's,
Fort Tusken,
Krayt Skeleton,
escape pod on tat, (theres one on dath too! much more exciting as well, lol)
Sarlacc Pit tat,
Krayt Graveyard,
Exar K'un's,
Sarlacc Dath,
Jedi Temple Dant,
Rbel Base POI dant,
Mastered:
Carbines
Rifles
Architect
Artisan
Merchant
Creature Handler
Doctor
Medic
Shipwright
Alliance Ace Pilot
Deja Peak falls
Theater Vreni Island
Bela Vistal Falls
Imperial Prison Dath
Lost Village of Durbin Talus
Rebel Outpost Rori
Imperial Outpost Talus
Kachiro badge
Necrosis badge
Heavy Xwing Quest
KKorrwrot badge
gorax
Kiin'drey
not a bad resume' for an ALT. I had never intended on taking Reko glowy bc i hated the themeparks, LOATHED the warren nor saw the point. We had a guildie get glowy after killing necro, so I reported that to Bac and decided to see how far we could push the envelope, Those are all the POI's and badges Reko has. Take note all you hopefuls he is my ALT. The point being is even with my alt he has been around the block a bit, maybe you all that are rushing towards a lot of grinding should take some time and care to learn the game a little more.
Last point before I leave and shutup, lol. I am not classifing entire groups. If you have read this and feel that this doesn't apply to you, cool. If you have and think it may a little bit, try different things in game before rushing. Or as you do your village journey, try to master one or 2 crafting professions and you crafters should learn the opposite as well. Have fun, and I wish you all well.

I thought Mos Eisley badges counted too?
Yes they probably do.
The testing was just to see if the content badges extended beyond just what was originally posted i.e. theme parks, warren, and corvette missions.
Since Kashyyyk was placed there have been many new additions to the actual content badges available in game. Its my belief that any combination of those content badges will work, not the old tried and true methodology put forth with publish 10. But again folks try not to rush to fast into something you may not be prepared for.
Which npc's do I talk to in Mos Eisley to start those quests?

My alt got glowy with
Mos Esley Mystery, 2 warrens (only ten minutes and no fighting witha good guide ...) Nyms, and Arena Champion
So yes, there are a lot of new and faster ways to get glowy
Any of the elite killer badges count as content.
Such as:
Ancient Krayt Dragon Hunter
Foe of the Gorax
Adversary of Kiin'dray
Has defeated NK-Necrosis
kaote wrote:Stupid question. I have an enourmous deficit of hutt faction points, cant get in to do jabbas themepark. Do you have to have this badge?
Short Answer: No. Long answer: you could do it with all sorts of different combinations, one example being Imperial Theme Park, Nym, Mos Eisley Mystery, Foe of Gorax and Arena Champion.
sorry about the 'click and drag' help text over 2 badges. one is BHM, the other is Warren badge 2.
