There can be nothing, absolutely nothing to make getting jedi easier. They should make getting fs harder and just dump the crafting crap.
the only real way to stop this is to stop these mad hunting groups. I saw this person who had mastered 6 profs and he had only played for a month... thiswill be theend of galaxies if they don't stop it soon, and right now more people getting jedi would just make the game worse.
BTW even if we all loved this idea it would never happen so why are we even talking about it
If you want to make jedi harder, then make the dang padawan trials harder, don't get rid of the crafting quests or anything related to FS. FS was made to enhance NORMAL profession skills. Why the heck do you think there aren't ANY jedi related skills in FS if it was made to be just for jedi! Sure you have melee skills, but they are generic skills, relating to all melee professions. Nowhere do you see Force Accuracy or Lightsaber Experimentation. FS is supposed to be just the tiny step in realizing that you are more proficient than most others in certain areas (thanks to you unkowingly using the force in tiny ways), a step that most don't ever get beyond (in the SW universe, not in SWG). If people want less jedi, then offer advice on how to change the system without altering FS. More involved padawan trial quests would be the most logical way of doing it, I think.

when luke finally landed on dagobah in ROTj he was a jedi and had all the skills needed to land on the planet, just being FS wouldnt give you enough skill over the force to land there.
While I agree with this logic in regards to Dagobah, it won't work with the village or Dathomir. Dagobah was a giant swamp land, and you had to use the force to keep your ship afloat. Dathomir is pretty solid ground for the most part. Actually, a pretty logical explanation that I just now thought of might explain why you can't land a ship or shuttle there. The mist is design to "mask" the presence of the village, as well as keep anyone who is not FS out. I imagine that this would cause some interference with radar and navigational equipment, making it near impossible to land a craft larger than a speeder without crashing it. A speeder, swoop, jetpack, etc...doesn't require nav computers or anything like that to make a safe "landing", as these are controlled manually, however spacecraft and shuttles use nav coms and droids in order to to adjust for a proper landing.

I say we have t omake the trials harder and have vader come down to danth and wipe out all jedi but there would be a new profssion mandolorian , And MAybe a super super long and hard path to be a jedi
I agree with the trial part, but why would Vader even go to Dath? It is so far out of the way, and there isn't any major force disturbances coming from there (thanks to the mist) that there would be no reason for the Empire to investigate it. The Empire uses it as a prison planet even. They know of the Nightsisters, and their connection with the Force, but they seem too primitive to pose any threat to the Empire, that Vader would simply dismiss them. Let them become rancor food, makes no difference. Unless something ever happened to the mist protecting the village, or some other new and great force disturbance happened there, I guarantee Vader won't go to a prison planet like Dathomir. Besides, going to Dathomir to wipe out jedi would be pointless, as normally you don't become jedi there. If you want Vader to wipe out jedi, he needs to go to all the major starports and the Rryatt Trail
I personally like the mystique of having to drive through some of the meanest mobs in the game to get to the village and wouldn't want to change it. However, if a starport ever did show up in the village it would be nice to add a bit of risk to using it.
Examples:
- Operational village defenses aren't too picky about discriminating against friend or foe. A chance to have your ship destroyed on landing or takeoff can be expected when the base defenses are active. This would be considered ground combat for the sake of wound generation upon your death.
- When Siths are attacking there is a chance they will infiltrate the starport and destroy your parked ship. The more Sith are attacking the greater risk to the player.
- A safe landing during peacetime still carries a little risk. Sith spies can infiltrate unseen and destroy your ship in the hangar. A dice roll every hour you are landed at I guess 5% chance against you would allow a spy to sneak in and destroy your ship. The longer you stay the greater your risk.
- A very clear warning from the space station stating the danger of landing in the village would probably be a good idea.
It isnt that hard to go afk whilst travelling accross dath or just alt tabbing is it now?
Lazyness indeed.

I think the force village needs a starship terminal so we can land there. I mean come on luke landed on dagobah why can't we land here?
and hotdog vendors aswell as street performers right??
they should move the village right next to the mining outpost on dant. they should remove all missions from the mission terminal expect those for bols and pikets, cuz i hate searching for them. they should also make paemos a hawt twi'lek chick, which would make it easier for me to accept him (her)stealing all my xp. they should make all sith CL10 or less and instead of having to kill mell as your exit quest you should just have to kill a crazed durni or something similar. and once you become jedi you should have the ability to attack any other player you want at any time without their consent, that way i can wait outside the starport in mos eisley and just have fun cutting down n00bs with my saber all day ![]()
oh yeah, and they should pay ME to play the game.
