Fast and easy path?

Eat a bowl of rice with two toothpicks instead of chopsticks...the toothpicks will take much longer, but yield the same result.

Would a person who used toothpicks be looked upon as a nobleman, or an idiot?

Okay, but why are you using chopsticks instead of a fork?

I couldn't think of another example that people could relate to...I didn't think a mini-fork would have been very credible.

Just made me thing of Mr. Miyagi trying to catch flies with chopsticks when he could use a flyswatter lol. Some would say it shows patience and determination, I say it shows you are too cheap to buy a flyswatter, don't really care about the flies being there, and have nothing better to do with your time lol.

ROFLMAO! Good analogy, but I suppose if the person was that impressed that he did it with the toothpicks he would expect everyone else to be just as impressed (meanwhile they are laughing at him behind his back).

To the OP, congratz on your unlock bro.You wont getprops from me based on how you did it because I really don't care- you did it and that's all that counts imo. WTG!

Actually after further contemplation, I've decided I would be impressed if you had done it all wiiiiiittthhhh...

(wait for it...)

I didn't grenade grind
I didn't rezz / db non-stop
I didn't grind a second combat template for the xp
... I simply went out and had fun Killed what I wanted to kill - Nightsisters, Krayts, Corvette runs, DWB, etc.
And now, with 200+ mill in the bank along with a museum full of the rarest & most expensive items and weapons I have unlocked.
Do yourselves a favor and get out of the grind mentality ... u're paying to play this game and to enjoy yourself. Do that.

WOOT GRATS !!!

Gives hope to people like me who have much more fun converting XP along the way as opposed to grinding nades. I tried to use just grenades but it's not for me. I definately found chucking nades at GBN's very boring so I stopped.

I also don't understand the need for people to flame if they choose to grenade or not to grenade. It's a pointless debate so it's good to hear someone encouraging the no-grenade method without flaming those who do use grenades.

Also, does anyone else actually do both? My method is this:

I play the game doing what I feel like at the time to enjoy myself and just convert my xp to FS xp along the way when I cap. Some days I will actually feel like just grinding for the FS conversion at which time I hit the GBN lairs but only use a few stacks of nades per lair in combination with my TKM/Pistoleer skills. I find this a good happy medium as opposed to all nades or no nades at all. But I don't hear of many others doing this. The benefit of doing both without going pure grenades is that its great for people who dont want to change their template and get commando 4/0/0/0 just for the grind. I didn't do that so I can keep a good template for PvP and still have fun along the way to unlocking.

So if you dont want to go pure grenade grind, remember you can still use them without any commando skills and get the combat xp faster in conjunction with your regular weapon xp while still having fun along the way.

Ah I like that analogy. . Here is another

Would you rather choose a spoon or a snowblower to clear snow from your driveway? You will eventually have moved the same amount of snow, but one takes much much longer.

A person that regular grinds "the real way" and a smart person who choses the quickest path available to them will unlock the same profession and have the same opportunities to get the same skills, so why would you chose the longer way if in the end you'll have a Jedi and you still haven't lost 80 extra hours from your precious life.

If your ultimate goal is just to get a jedi and a second toon ... and GRIND for endless hours /shrug, u have a strange concept of what's fun IMHO

This game can be tons of fun w/o a second account and a jedi. A jedi is just something different to have fun with. I have access to a jedi account and while it's fun, my swordsman alt was just as much fun.

If u like the grenade grind, congratulations - throw 'nades at baz nitches and do village runs - good for u.

However, if u dont like it ... don't do it. My advice to any1 who doesn't like grenade grinding - stop grinding. That's why its called GRINDING. Just enjoy the game - PvP, corvette, elders, whatever floats your boat. Heck, get lap dances from twi'leks

There's a lot more to this game than having a glow bat. I know jedi who dont even have a million credits to their name and have to literally beg for crystals and complain about the game 24/7.

Bottom line : if u don't like it, don't do it. Enjoy the game, do what u wanna do.

Here's another analogy :

Would u rather shovel snow being alone & cold for 3 months ...

or work on the beach with scantily clan women for 9 months?

Your choice

excellent I am doing it that way myself will take me forever as I play on two different servers but I play to have fun. only one of my two toons is fs and I just unlocked my 3rd branch today and will do phase III as soon as it starts and I can find someone to group with on chilly but the way you did it is more fun I do belive and thats why I am doing it that way to I am a master doc/master swords. my none fs guy would have an easier time as he is master commando/whaterver as I keep changing that part but never wanted to do the rez or gernade deal. either.
