These things are by far the most tough things to find. I've managed to find a grand total of 2 gungan falumpasets, which i killed, but still need 18 more of the blasted things.
Anyone got some good places to find them? I'd appreciate it hehe.

I read the Gungan Sacred Place might havemore of 'em? There are also sightings waypoints on swgcreatures.com,but they're likely about as accurate as the sightings waypoints for the pirates, farmer, or wild bladeback boar for the Hermit quest lol.

Day 11 (Friday March 4th)
Nothing happened today I fell asleep rather early and never got any game time in hehe.

Day 11 (Saturday March 5th)
Woke up, bright and early, thanks to the nice nights rest I got last night.
Since it was still early, i logged into SWG for a little, and decided to try and finish up my 20k Jedi xp and also complete the mission from the Shrine that i'd left unfinished on Thursday.
I didn't have much time, so it was a straight to business morning. Wanted to get things done and out of the way today.
So off I headed, to go and get the last 6k of Jedi xp i needed. That took about 20 minutes or so, and was enjoyable enough to do. Although, i can't wait till i get some sort of special move to use with this lightsaber hehe.
To help pass the time, i wrote myself a little macro that ran intimidate2 a few times in a row, then berserk1, then timed it to see how long it lasted for before berserk ran out and then added a pause command. 27 seconds gave it a few extra seconds to wear off and ran lovely.
So there i was, happily beating on creatures. When i realised there was a flaw to my new macro. It wasn't designed to deal with more than one creature at a time. hehe. Uh oh, my health rapidly decreasing. I had no idea if what i was fighting even deathblowed, but i didn't intend on finding out. With a hop, skip and a jump, i landed on my swoop and bowled it off into the hills without looking back. Fighting things without any armour, and unbuffed can sometimes be a little tough. Specially when even with intimidate2 on them, they still get maybe 1 in 5 hits to hit you for full damage. I must remember to /bug this one.
Ok, done with the XP finally, i flew to Naboo to go and hunt some Falumpasets. Now this should be fun. hehe.
Previously I had searched around Keren and found none. Then Deeja Peak and found none, then finally Moenia and guess what...None
Ok, now i'm stumped. I've been playing this game since beta 3 and there's still things i have no clue about hehe. But that's a good thing. I'd rather find out and continue to learn about the game, than know it all inside out immediately.
Putting two and two together, after what i'd been fighting the other night, Gungan Falumpasets', i decided to try my luck at the Gungan Sacred Place.
A friend of mine, Onaw, also suggested that i give it a try too.

Not even halfway to the place, i was going full pelt, throttle wide open, on the swoop bike. Had i really been on it, i'm sure my teeth would've all rattled loose inside my head by now. They don't strike me as being very comfortable rides hehe. All engine, with a small seat mounted on top basically. Good fun though, i bet.

Suddenly i see a lair up ahead, closer, closer, closer, passed it, and for some reason i happened to do a quick turn and tab through the targets that spawned after i passed it, and there it was. A falumpaset lair in the wild. I forget their specific name, but they were definitely Falumpasets hehe. So I quickly pulled up to stop, jumped off the bike and headed into combat. 18 more to go. This single lair provided me with all 18. Of this I was thankful.

In no time at all, I'd completed the mission. Only now i was faced with a new issue.
After I killed the Falumpasets, i was told to go back to the person i spoke with.
Only, i can't remember who it was, or what planet it was on.
A sigh of defeat escaped my throat as I stared at the screen, blankly. What was I supposed to do now? Need to think. Since i do my best thinking when I'm smoking, i rolled me up a ciggy and had a quick break.
Mulling over the issue at hand, the harsh unfiltered smoke of my roll up filling my lungs with searing heat, causing them to tighten up and constrict my airways, a sudden thought came to me.
'Go use the Jedi Shrine, it will surely tell you what you were doing'.
The feeling of enlightenment (ok, it was more a nicotine headrush that you get from smoking rarely hehe) drove me to stub out what was left of the ciggy and get back into the game.

Sitting back down in my chair, I located the nearest shrine to my location. Bonus, only about 2000m from where i was. Can't argue with that.
Heading there, quick as I could, i leaped off the swoop and then knelt respectfully in front of the shrine. Here goes nothing. Selecting Meditate from the radial menu, i wait for the revelation to be supplied to me....
The blow that hit me was not unlike the feeling of hitting your finger when hammering a nail into something. It never gave me the location f whom i was supposed to be talking to. Just told me i had completed killing 20 falumpasets, and to speak to whatshisname. No location details.
Ok, Let's do this sensibly. He has to be on one of the planets, and taking a gamble i'd get a waypoint to him when i got to the correct planet. I took off and headed for a starport. Obviously Naboo wasn't the right planet. Next stop, Tatooine, then Talus, and finally Corellia. Rori wasn't on my list as I never take missions there. So that was a sure thing.
Turned out, it was Corellia Coronet to be exact.
My final planet, but hey. It worked didn't it?

Off i headed to a Jedi Shrine to meditate and get another mission. Truly not expecting what was about to happen.
I hadn't been counting my missions. Or how many i'd done. I just played them out. I reach the shrine and knelt before it. Meditated and was expecting a new mission. When i get a Congratulations message, along with some lightning show from the Shrine all over my characters body. And a great piece of Star Wars music from Episode 4.
My wife was even happy for me, as we sat there, listening to the music.

And so ended the Day in the life of a Jedi Initiate.

My final thoughts before concuding this thread:

Jedi Padawan will be a lot of fun for those who enjoyed playing through the Initiate part. I'm enjoying it.
The /addignore command is useful.
Don't be discouraged by the bugged missions. This to me was one of the hardest parts of playing the game. I've gotten a few tips on how to avoid buggy missions, that i've come up with through my playing time in game...

Here's my little Q&A on some of the bugs:

Q: The NPC's i need to speak to won't spawn. What's wrong?
A: 1) When approaching a Waypoint after meditating at the Shrine. Do not fly in on your swoop. Dismount and approach on foot when you reach about ~200m.

2)Do not leave the immediate vicinty of the NPC after he's spawned either, until you've conversed with him/her. If you do so without conversing, the NPC will despawn and you will be left with a restart current trial.

Q: Everytime I take a trial on Rori, even trying the above walking method, the NPC won't spawn, what should I do?
A: If you receive a mission to go to Rori, just meditate at the Shrine again and click on Restart Current Trial. Then Meditated again and try to get a different planet. Keep repeating until you don't get a Rori trial.

Don't forget to remove all armour when fighting with a Lightsaber, this includes PSG's.

To craft your first lightsaber, you'll need to first make a Lightsaber crafting kit. To make one, get a Weapon/Droid crafting kit. Or buy one from someone who's selling them. If you make your own, like I did, the quality won't be great, but shouldn't make too much of an impact on your final result. Conductivity and Overall Quality are the main stats you need high for crafting your saber.

You can't tune clear crystals until you reach Padawan, it uses Force power to tune those. You can tune coloured crystals though. And you can see what quality the clear crystals are, aswell as Pearls, simply by Examining them.

Get your 20k of Jedi xp before you reach Padawan, so you're able to learn Novice Lightsabers immediately after completing the Padawan Trials.

To find your Jedi trainer type: /findmytrainer

This last one is just a theory i've thought about...
You determine the planet your trainer will appear on when you complete the trials by meditating at a shrine. If you meditate on say Naboo for your final time, you will then find your Jedi trainer is also on Naboo somewhere.
So pick which planet you wish to have your trainer located on before you meditate at a shrine, then travel to that planet and meditate there at any shrine location on your chosen planet.
Again, this is just a theory, since I've not been able to try it out on my own. Would be good to see if someone can confirm this by trying it out when they're ready to do their final Meditate.

Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed reading these little stories as much as i've enjoyed writing them.
I hope to continue in a more "in character" way with stories about my Jedi Padawan, but they might not be so frequent, as i've got another character now to grind out the village on, and thus am back to square 1 again with getting xp hehe.

Good luck to those still in the village and May the Force be with You.

Of a Jedi Padawan.

I'm going to be writing this as my character from now on. In a hope to make it feel like you are there, experiencing what the toon feels, sees and hears. These will take me a little longer to write. I hope you'll all enjoy them still.

I will be creating a new thread to write my stories in. Under a new title.

Look for the thread soon - 'Eyes of A Jedi'

Aday in the life of the average non-combat class in search of the jedi holocron:

1. I arrange to join a group on Dathomir to hunt nightsisters. My companions are a doctor and a ranger. The ranger claims he's broke and so I pay his way.

2. We run a great distance and fight several nightsisters.

3. We earn force crystals and one of my partners asks me to let him have mine so he can get two of each knid, one cold, one warm...whatever.

4. We get sidetracked because the doc in the group wants a lance off a nighsister elder.

5. We spend the next 2 hours trying to get the lance.

6. I die and end up in the science outpost cloning center, and my group is up in the northwest corner.

7. They won't come back to get me and so I end up going back to Naboo with no force crystals, no holocron, and short about 25k.

Yes, that is the day in the life of a non-combat class in search of the jedi holocron.
