I also wanted to post something else which I found interesting. I mastered a profession visited all the pois needed and did jabbas, nyms and the warren. And I was still faint. So I started doing the rebel park. Sometime while I was on lok I began to surge. SoI continued on and when I finished with luke I was glowing. Of course you say so what that's normal. Well one of my friends has a mastered profession, some pois and hasn't done any parks. He started doing the rebel park and again sometime on lok(I think after nien)he began to surge. Now he hasn't finished the rebel park yet but is it just me or do the rebel and imperial parks have a lot more to do with this then we think. I know the original method has worked but I just found it funny that my friend began to surge before doing all the pois and any theme parks.

First I'd like to say thank you for this guide. And if this doesn't get a sticky then someone needs to geta swift kick I know this is gonna sound kinda dumb but every game is different and it wasn't mentioned. When you say 1-3 days are you talking about in game or real days? I imagine you mean real days but not sure how you can wait 1-3 days and still catch the guy.

Doesn't sound dumb at all, that's a totally reasonable question. The way I believe it works is that a timer is running as to when the old man is going to visit you, this timer runs whether you're in game or not, when it expires, the next time you're in game (or if you're in the game right then) the old man will approach. So whether you play or not in about 1-3 real life days the old man will approach.

The /check system has issues. If it were more integral I think I would spend more time trying to figure it out, but since we have the clear list of what is needed... *shrug*

KripticK2 I worry that if I put more info on the /check system in the guide it will confuse more people then it will help, as it definitely seems to do some weird things. Don't worry about doing weird things when waiting for the old man, I took to yelling things about offering young girls if he'd hurry up.

Oh I know, maybe it was just my over worked brain talking. But maybe for someone that is just starting out on their path they could do either the rebel or imp parks first. I do not mean to degrade this guide in any way it was just a observation. My friend hasn't finished the rebel park yet or I'd post what happen with him. Guess maybe I was talking to him to much while waiting for the old man lol

quick update the old man decided to show up as soon as I logged on today so now I'm just waiting to get jumped I was gonna start saying that I would join the dark side if the sith showed up but saying that would be lying and in return I would already be going down the path. hehe

I've got a question and i hope i didnt mis read this and it was already answered. i recieved 3 unlocks free, and did the 1st set of quests with paemos. directly after the quests (8/8) i was able to go up my 4 th tree. i waited and waited for peamos to give ,me more search and destroy quests and when he finally did, i finished them and went to noldan to train my first 2 boxes in my 5th tree but he says im not ready and i dont have enough fs xp to train. Problem is i have enough xp to train the first 2 boxes immediatly. is there some reason he wont let me train? Do we need to be in a certain phase to train further in cp??? Or could i be bugged and need to submit a ticket? any help on this would be greatly appreciated -- thx ahoki

Paemos doesn't give any quests. You can train at any time. You can only do one quest per phase. FS xp is different tree to tree (make sure you have the correct kind of xp). Make

I don't think you're bugged. If the above doesn't clear things up please provide some more information.

Thanks for getting back so fast -- my 3 unlocks i took melee defence ranged defence and melee accuracy --- after the first search and destroy missions were given to me, i was able to train in mele speed - i was going to go ahead and go combat prowess master to fill my 6 boxes, after the second sets of search and destroy missions i went to train and it wouldnt let me train in ranged speed or accuracy. what am i doing wrong -- thanks alot ahoki
