My question is this. Say I wanted the benefits of more than six of the FS branches (Like for example, assume I want all the melee buffs+ranged defense, but I also want persuasion, survival, and some crafting buffs for making the uber lightsabre). Are we required to take the exit quest after our sixth branch is done, or can we stay in the village and continue to grind if we want, and just take the exit quest after? The main reason this would be plausible, I suppose, is for people who's templateshave gaps, and they might want to grind out a useful buff in the meantime.

Excellent job, Ithiris on this guide. Fortunately for me i wasnt able to get glowy till about 5 days ago and reading this guide made the whole process so simple. I was able to properly use my 2 freebies which allowed me to complete the grind to padawan after the 4th shift. Anyhow to my question, on the first page u explained that after unlocking our freebies then we are to proceed and complete the quest for the first grinding skill we need to complete. Having completed the quest i unlocked that tree but still lack the xp to make novice in that tree. You made a point that i wish to be completely crystal clear on and what you said was that you would do all the remaining quests for this shift even tho the remaining quests are not part of my total six quests on my list of skills i wish to pursue. Sorry about the wordiness. Finally the question, do i understand you correctly that now that i have opened the tree that i wish to pursue, its now ok to do the other quests for the other 3 remaining professions to simply get the loot? My concern was that I would be stuck doing those trees at some time in the future. What makes sense is that i can do all the quests to get the reward but i wont be able to unlock any additional trees since I have already unlocked my tree of choice already. So the point is that if you are gonna do all the quests, that you must do the quest you are wanting to complete first as this will unlock that tree and prevent any other trees from being unlocked on this initial phase. Is that correct? Cause if it is and someone is randomly doing the 4 different missions for the loot without thinking about which skill they want for this shift, they could end up unlocking a tree first that they had not intended to and end up having to wait for another complete cycle of the village to pass to get the actual skill they wanted. Sorry if this was question was already asked previously, read through all the pages and did not see it clarified, lol, i may have made it more confusing in all my wordiness!

In my experience you remain "busy" until the next phase, which means you cannot take the other quests (just for the loot) in that same phase. You can only take one of the four available quests, and if you want the other 3 loot items you will have to do them next cycle (and then the next cycle, and one more cycle after that). So whichever quest you choose to do first ... well ... that's the only one you get to do until the phase comes around again.

Did that make sense?

I dont know if this has already been answered. Lets say someone wants to get to the padawan trials as quickly as possible and takes one skillbranch each phase without being picky. If he goes Jedi later, will he still be able to train in the FS skillsor will they be deleted andoverwritten by thetrue Jedi skill tree?

My basic question is: is itpossible to gimp your later Jedi already in this early stage by missing out on combat-related skills like melee defense ??

Only explanationI can think of is that they did the trials on TC. There was no 3 weeks per phase system in place on TC. One other possibility is that they got 5 free branches unlocked, and were able to do their final branch that very day (after doing whichever quest they chose from the first cycle). In live you can only do one quest per phase ... unfortunately. I was lucky enough to get 4 free unlocks. Adding my first chosen quest allowed me 5 branches during the first phase, but now I must wait for phase 2 before I can finish and (hopefully) become a padawan. I have tried every conceivable method to do more of the quests in phase 1, but have found it impossible.

Question:

Is there anything special to do after mastering all 6 branches, to get the second visit from the old man?

Or is it the same as the first visit, wait 24hrs?

thank you in advance for your insights
