I tried from the third closest tonight to no avail. Was 1k meters out and he took the poison. This is so disappointing, especially since it is my unlock.
Please guys do something about this quest in the next few days. Just get rid of the poison. That way you'll eventually get him to the base from any base.
I spent the last hour at the closest base. Its really bringing out the worst in people.

now that it has been brought to your attention and thank u for startin this thread. will there be a hotfix for these (bugs?) will it be fixed before end of phase. any ideas as to what changes may be made i thank u for any infomation you might have
here's my problem with the mission tonight:
Afull group waits2 hours at our base (Kappa), finally it spawns(about 12:08am CST). We got the system message that the shields were powering down when one of our group members hit the remote. We take out the turrets, we take out the sith, and a separate group member gets the commander. We managed to escort him ALL THE WAY BACK over 4800m to the village, with 10min to spare. One person, ONE PERSON, in the group got credit for the quest. One. 1.
The quest log says nothing about a 1 or even 2 person minimum on completing this quest when you're grouped. Every single one of us should have gotten credit because we did it as the group is instructed to. Even IF there was some hidden restriction to how many people could do this at a time, still only one person did. The player who spoke with the commander. Per the quest log, and the Captain in the village, both the person who takes the shields down AND the person who talks to the commander should get the quest complete, at the very LEAST.

Didnt we have the exact same problem with the turrents last Phase 3 and didnt SOE publish a hotfix that fixed these bugged turrents??? I could swear the answer is yes? What happened, old bug sneak back in or am I imagining this???

At this point, after half a dozen failed attempts, I'd be happy to just have the opportinity to choose a differant quest this phase.
I just finnished this on eclipse server from zed base with about 10-15 mins to spare. The biggest problem i see with this quest is that it's absolutly no fun what-so-ever. It's like the devs made something that they thought the players would really hate todo and only the "dedicated" players would complete it. But instead they created an atmosphere for greifing, ganking, and wasting a minimum of 2 hours of everyones time after u have base codes. This quest is not fun at all, and I wouldn't even wish it on the little kiddie greifers.
Noone should have to do something like this in a game. It's a game!!! When was this forgotten?![]()
