Hi there

I say this quest is hard but finally i did it. For the nfirst time me and my friend ( both TKM amd he is master doc also, i was master sword and little bit of fencer at that moment) were slain, i was first to hit the ground. yesterday we tried it once more and took masterbounty hunter with us. we manage to get to alpha base and the fun begun. there were no turrets, we disabled the shield and the sith appeared. Before the attack we formed group with friend Tk and MBH was alone, we wanted to keep sith number as low as possible. unfortunatelly we were separated and this is not allowed if you want to finish it. keep group together or you will be slain. i was fighting 3 sith i was holding the ground but when next 2 spawned next to me and started to attack me from a distance i was quickly killed.

When i was lying on a ground i watched the show. there were in front of the base more than five siths and around base there were unknown number of siths, its diffucult to move around base without aggroing them. finally i was resurected by the doc but no buffs, i had to return to science outpost to find a doc anf get new ones. when i was on a run to science i read that my friends manage to get inside the base. When i returned we had to kill only 2 siths to get commander spawn. we he finally appeared inside the base in front of the base there were more than 5 siths. i made my decision and hit the base with intention to get to commander. first time i was amazed that first hit that struck me took 2k of ma health bar, quite impossible for me. i was in a full comp armour with kin and electric res 80 and the rest 85, imagine how much damage he would deal when i would be without armour?! i run away and prepared to make a second hir and run. i ate synthstreak to reduce damage and hit the bike. i arrived at the base and was instantly dismounted, i run to commander, captured him and 5 more Siths appeared in a tent, i run to the entrance, got on a bike and run away, i watched as commander run towards me. i when Siths stops aggro on me i dismounted, i started long run towards the village, my 2 friends started to escort me, distracting Siths and everything else that wpuld aggro on me. We then finally manage to reach the village and started to party( we got 2 crystals each).

Dudes and dudets I have to admit I liked the mission. It made me wake up and use my brain. Watching and timing of the Sith's was a great idea.

I find it amazing how many people on here and ive seen actually doing the mission use the tactic of distacting the sith to get into the base and risk dieing as having 10-20 sith thugs shooting at you is not fun . They despawn every 1.5-2mins leaving the gate clear for 10-20secs.....why not use that??

this mission isnt hard, i have soloed it 3 times for myself and a couple friends. like the person above said it takes patience you have to learn the spawns and the method. It can easily be completed as intended. Just cant go up to it and expect to do it the first second you get there.

i would agree with you if it were not for one major flaw in this theory.

if the Shield Dropper dies, not only do you get an on screen message that the mission has failed, but if you look in your quest crystal, it will tell you you failed the mission as well.

that is not a trick, it is a bug that needs to be fixed

Its not a bug.. cause when you take the mission as the sheild dropper.. you are told once the sheilds are down you must not die til the commander is secured and returned to the village. I was sheild dropper I died repeatedly and I got the failed mission and me and my partner both went to restart the quest

Plenty of people have done this quest without dying.

This mission was alot of fun!!! Did it with my reg character, Jedi and alt Doc...all 3 teamed with other guild members. Also helped8 other guild members finish theirs.

The best profession for this mission in a supportrole is a rifleman/ranger combo...camo is awesome on this quest. The rifleman part also takes the turrets and draws the thugs 1 at a time.

Everyone agreed this was the funnest quest so far and nobody had a problem helping other guildies once we did it the first time. Too bad there isn't more content like this.

I went there with 2 jedi.

As we arrived we dropped the shield, destroyed the turrets, destroyed the gate, quickly went in and killed a couple of thugs that spawned.

I was already conversing with the commander and while the 2 jedi were killing about 6 thugs I kidnapped him and went to the village (9.5k walk took me about 45 minutes )

Anyway this is the best way to do it. If you immediately start killing the thugs around the camp they will respawn and kill you eventually.

Also inside the camp they can't all attack youat once cause it's rather narrow.

Btw the 3rd phase lasted about 7 weeks didn't it?

Cause the 4th phase only started a week ago or so.

Quite crappy, but not unexpected obviously.
