so is this true for sure? if i grind out my 20k needed before im pad i wont gain vis?

Matter of opinion... at least persuasion works and is verifiable. Now I don't get a massive break from training fees and stuff, but it is still nice to get. I also have the luck branch - now that one... heh - so instead of looting wood staffs, I get reinforced combat staffs - ya, that's the ticket... (j/k - I still get wood staffs too...)
There is a great post (thought I haven't found it in a while) as to which branches even work. Worth searching for...

I've never heard of anyone being hunted as an initiate so it is the safe way to go. But that doesnt mean u should go waving your saber in Cnet, lol.

The falumpasets are easy. Take Gungan missions. They are 9k or something on Naboo. They normally have 2 of the Falumpasets stowed away. When you have killed them just go 600m away and go back and there will have spawned new ones.

Nice post. It sounds like the answer to my question is yes, but I just would like confirmation. After you are visited by the old man for the second time, can you log out and come back laterto dothe Mellichae mission? I want to get the visit, but I'mafraid I'll get the misison while I'm at work or something. Lol. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

you can do gungan base missions (6k on terms) for falumpsets. havent done it but i was given this advice by someone who had. apparently they spawn with the gungans

took my buddy just a few hours for all the padawan trials. most of which included travelling betwee planets and to shrines. as for the falumpaset trial, go to the gungan sacred place POI on naboo. you will find a few there and they respawn every few minutes.

I killed Mellichae back in October, no waypoint and no further visits from the Old man... Quests shows it as being complete... At this point I'm a bit lost on what I should do next...

I would try to go mediate at each Shrine until you get the right one. There is a post stickied in the Jedi forums that lists the wps for each shrine.

It has been posted that you can NOT be hunted as an initiate as you do not yet have a force bar. However that does not mean that you do not gain visibility(this is rather difficult to test). It is purely possible that you gain visibility at initiate but you will not show up on the terminals until after you have completed the padawan trials.

You need to go mediatate at a force shrine. WPs are in the guide stickied up top.
