Worst part i think is that since we have the LOS now implemented the turrents simply do not. They fire through terrain and and over the max distance sometimes it is simply unfair.

Do you really think this quest is difficult? You should have done it pre CU (or at least pre Pub 20)! I did it a few days ago with a friend who needed this quest and all i can say is that it was never as easy as it now is.

Actually i am happy about every player who quits before he becomes a Jedi

Sorry if my english is bad but my german is perfect

Consider this mission as the straw that breaks the camel's back. I see it happening around me. People who have tried 5x now, spent days looting disks forfrequency devicesto the nearest bases, only to see their commander 'stolen' (real ugly behavior out there), having the commander suicide, warp back, refuse to climb even shallow hills... it is incredibly discouraging.

To all the people quoting jedi dogma and spouting other disparaging comments, I say get a life. I did this mission many times pre CU, both for myself and while helping guildmates. It was hard but exciting, and had a real sense of achievement at the end. Now it has become something people dread, nervewrecking (and not in a fun-thrill way), degrading (in the sense that despair is pushing people into behavior they would otherwise never even consider) and plain un-fun.

I am sorry to hear you had so much trouble with it. Me and a guildmate did it this evening, and had no trouble whatsoever. A key for us was we used probots to destroy the turrets and gate. It worked like a charm.

The battle for the sith base is NOT the problem really. The commander is.

To be a Jedi, Luke, you must confront and then go beyond the dark side - the side your father couldn't get past. Impatience is the easiest door - for you, like your father.

I'm glad to see at least one of the village quests is doing its job.

I'm assuming you meant for that to say...

/agree.
No Patience = No Jedi

/agree

I try to see the FS quest bugs as a test of patience, I know jedi's gonna test it alot more so this is just practice

Besides, lots of people like me did it right after the CU when you had to kill a bunch of lv121's to capture him. If a group of 4 with no jedi (a rifleman, me - melee stacker, pikeman and CM) could do it then I think you don't have much to complain about now.

If you want jedi enough these MINOR inconveniences wouldn't bother you so much, perhaps you're trying to get jedi for the wrong reasons?
