i completed phase 3 quest for the captn, and took the ranged speed last phase 4 but i never completed it yet i still get that damned r&r response....

It dosent seem to matter whether you took Ranged Speed or Melee Defence last phase..........you can still be bugged in this phase (its random)
Same here and my buddy that did everything the same as me got the quest and is now waiting on the old man .

I belive the problem is that some of us didn't get recognized for completed last phase 4's quest!
(Either you finish it and didn't get recognized for completing it or you didn't complete it)
In my quest journal I have a "Quest Complete" entry for every quest,
except for last captain sarguillos phase 4 quest.
I completed the quest, got the reward and the ranged speed unlock.
Since I don't know anyone who has completed it,
I can't verify if this is the problem (that some of us didn't get the recognized for completing it)
anyway, I did ranged speed last phase 4 and I'm unable to get melee defence now!

I don't think i fall into either category. I've completed every quest i've attempted. I took the Capt's quest last phase 4 and i chose the melee def. as my choice. Now i was wanting the ranged part of the quest. but ultimately i'm bugged like everyone else. I've received the R&R message so much i'm starting to consider it lol. j/k but really this is unsettling cause its my last branch to unlock like alot of people. Hope this info helps in anyway.

i ve a problem too... dont know... ok i am combat prowess 4-4-4-4 and have make from enhaced reflexes 0-0-0-4 (survival) now i ve 5 trees a 4 boxes 20 boxes all...
yesterday i ll get the new mission from captain sarguillo to make my last tree 4 boxes but he say that what you say in category A i ve create a ticket... a csr tell me so i ve say him whats my prob he only say then get a another quest but whip or the elder say go to sarguillo ok ive speak with all there say all the self i say to the csr pls can u delete my old mission or what u can make to halp me he say we cant a do anything he only say you must wait that come phase 1 but ive all quests from phase 1 survival and ranged speed lol then i must wait for phase 2 thats the only i can make vehicil control now i must wait 9 weeks to get my jedi wow many thx SOE ...

I can't unlock melee defense...get the R&R message. I unlocked ranged in the last phase 4. Have completed and received credit for all of my other unlocks. This is my last unlock. Irritated? Yes.
Question is: will the devs give us credit for this unlock if they don't get it fixed anytime soon? Otherwise they can take this game and shove it straight up their....______ <---add colorful word of your choice here.

I don't fall into any of the catogories but I am bugged. I did melee defence last phase 4, and now I can't do ranged speed.

im in B and i also cant talk 2 whip (i belive he gives the reflexes quests) he just says go speak 2 captain S

I am in Group C. I have listed my adventures cronologicaly by quest, then whether or not i completed the quest, and if i have achieved level 4 in the tree the quest unlocked.
First: 1st Village Cycle, Phase II Melee Speed-Unlocked, Tree Filled
Second: 1st Village Cycle, Phase IV Ranged Speed-Unlocked, Tree Filled
Third: 2nd Village Cycle, Phase I Ranged Accuracy-Unlocked, Tree NOT Filled
Fourth: 2nd Village Cycle, Phase II Vehicle Control-NOT UNLOCKED (ran out of time before i had to go to Germany)
Fifth: 2nd Village Cycle, Phase III Melee Accuracy-UNLOCKED, Tree NOT Filled
Sixth: R&R-the b@stard won't let me help out
