I was just playing and having a good time and converting when I could, but once I heard about the CU I decided it might be a good idea to take advantage of the advantages the current system gives me and grind out all the FS xp I needed. Well it was easier said than done. I login every night with the intent to grind for one buff session (work nights), but I find after 2 lairs (sometimes less) I'm dozing off at my computer and I just don't end up finishing out the buff. Last night I went to lair 1 and killed the beasties, went to lair 2 and killed more beasties, went back to lair one....woke up sitting on my swoop - killed lair (not waiting for spawn), went back to lair 2 and did same thing, then logged, then went to bed and watched Chapelle
I thought maybe it was a sleep issue, but it doesn't seem to matter what time of day or night it is I try to play - everytime the grind just puts me to sleep. Grinding really isn't me, but I just don't want getting my Jedi to take even longer than it does now once the CU goes live. I have 2 branches done (my freebies) and 3 branches unlocked (currently working on box 4 of one of them). Once next phase starts I'll have my six branches unlocked, but will have A LOT of FS xp to get lol.
I long for the day my purple leezard ignites his saber
I been saving crystals for a looong time and have a whole room in my house full of em....so that is where I'd like to be....if I can just stay awake for it lol.

It wasn't just the Hologrind that burnt me out. Hell, the Hologrind WAS a goal. Seeing how efficiently I could get XP was fun. It also showed me parts of the game I never would have seen. I actually enjoyed sitting in the cantina talking to REAL entertainers.
The fact that the Hologrind was the only thing to do was what burnt me out. If the Devs had showed even a hint of all the improvements to come, I probably would of stuck it out. Instead, they were silent and never gave any indication that they acknowledged the game was broke.
The wife says hi, brother.

I've never been able, or wanted to grind. I have better things to do than spend hours a day killing generic NPCs if I'm not enjoying it, and usualy I'm doing something with somone else. I'm unlocking all the trees, but not focusing on grinding, because whenever I have begun grinding I've been bored out of my mind and quit SWG for a week or two .
Some days, just because of what I'm doing, I may cap, and I might go a month without capping XP once.
I'm quite happy.
Part of me never wants to leave CH anyway
