Thread: Confused on what to do, advice please (double posted in JEDI)
Once you train your 6 branches (24 skill points) and complete the padawan trials, you become a jedi. From there, if you only want a specific branch, or discipline in Jedi, all you have to do is grind it. It is not required to drop all your skills. You will give up any skills for whatever jedi skills you have, but you are not obligated to give them all up.

Now I confused. If I just finish Force Sensitive part, then I'm only going to be using 24 of the skill points, correct? Then I have enough skill points to keep TKM and Master Doc.
If I become Jedi Padawan, am I giving up all my professions (except Force Sensitive Skills) and concentrating on Padawan? If I give up all my professions, does my combat level become 1 like a noob player? (forgive me if I'm asking obvious questions. Nobody explainedthings properlyto me yet)
Another thing is I want to be able to continue with survey so I can place harvesters. I heard that's possible(even without Novice Artisan), if I have Survey Force Sensitive Skill. Is that true?
Also, if Healing doesn't help Force Healing at all then what good is healing as force sensitive skill?
Can I get terrain negotiations benefit by doing Survival without Novice Scout or do I need to keep Novice Scout to get Survival Force Sensitive benefit?
Once again, forgive me if I'm asking noob questions. It is just that no matter how long I've been playing this game (8 months), I feel like a noob player.
Guys,
I'll shed a little more light on some of the questions answered.
I'm a Jedi and I have the FS Senses Survey Skill. I do not have any Artisan skills, and I CAN use the +20 Survey from the FS skills to survey for resources. At my current level, I can only surevey at the rate of a novice artisan (60m range). You need all 4 branches in this tree to be able to survey (i.e. you need + 20 Survey to use a survey tool, so if you don't get all 4 branches you will need novice artisan or get BE clothing to use this skill).
Others on this post that said this skill is probably not as useful as some of the combat prowess and reflexes skills for a combat centric Jedi are correct. I chose this skill purely for the fun of being able to survey my lightsaber resources. I'm happy with it, and if you like diversity in your template this can be fun to have. 2 of the village quests give survey tools that you canuse or you can buy survey tools from an artisan.
One thing I want to check out next phase in the village is whether I can do the Lucksurvey quest without novice artisan since I have the ability to survey with the FS skills. I'll let you all know when I can verify whether or not this can be done.
