and as far as your comment that you defeated knights.....that is incirrect.... since FRS has gone offline there are no knights, guardians or masters.... True some have the title.....(they were allowed to keep the title under the old system) but they have no bonuses that would normally come with the rank. So, if you defeated some Jedi, they were all padawans.

and finally, as to my comment on learning how the game is run..... Did you learn to drive saying who runs this vehicle?....who is in charge?....etc....no. You had to learn how the vehicle worked.....you did not just get in and BAM! were a nascar driver....you had to learn the little details that made the vehicle run (or maybe a better word is perameters) You have to learn what you can and cant do in the game. Believe it or not,....there is alot of detail in hunting animals in their liars. Did you know that if you stand 55 meters or closer to a Krayt dragon while attacking it, it will regen its health...(you probably knew that)....but did you know that if you are 56 meters or farther out it will not. and the closer you get to the creature the faster it will regen?....did you know that if you drag a monster approx 250 meters away from its spawn point it will retreat? It is things like that that I said you need to learn....not the "this is the way the devs operate this game"...... But oh well.....so many lack the patience to hear such things.... I guess ignorance truly is bliss

you did not beat or fight any knights or masters, they dont exist ATM

by the time you get jedi, either the FRS will be on, or will be turned on really soon, you shouldnt care now.

i couldnt have said it better. there are so many little things to know about the game.

for pvp, do you use LOS (if you know what LOS is... line of sight) to help you? do you know which are the best foods and which can stack? which spices are best for healers, and best for non healers? how armor can be sliced?

even though you may knnow some of them, its the fact there are so many little things that 3 months cant really teach

And yes, I had known the FRS was gone, and while I had killed those with the title "Jedi Knight", I did NOT realize they didn't get the perks that came with being a knight.

Not to nitpick, but it's technically13.5 weeks minimum, if you start on the last day of a phase and then finish on the first day of a phase. (4 phases * 3 weeks + 1 day for first phase + 1 day for last phase +9 extra days since the servers don't reset every night). Of course, that's assuming you start at the right time and can bank all your XP in that time... 25-30 weeks is probably a more realistic goal.

Anyway, to the original poster... The 3 week phases are not meant to make the path to Jedi hard, they're meant to draw out the process so that a powergrinder will still take n number of weeks to finish. As for the grind, it's much easier/cheaper to implement development-wise than a quest-based system, and I suppose in some sense it's difficult (only because a lot of people lack the patience to go through it). As for FRS, it was taken out for good reasons. Last I heard, they had submitted the new FRS idea to LA for approval and were waiting for a response. I think it's safe to assume that FRS will be back by the time you are a full-templated Jedi.

Ideally,the whole FS systemwould be more quest-based, but the system is what it is. If you really want to play a Jedi, suck it up and get it done. If you don't think it's worth it, there are a ton of other things to do in this game other than just BH and Jedi. Give something else a try and see if you enjoy it.

Is this really correct? The only reason I ask is that I was watching a duel one night on my server between a Jedi Master and someone else. I clicked on the Jedi Master because I was curious what foods/buffs/powers/etc. he was using. I happened to notice that he had over 5000 health, even though he had absolutely no buffs and no foods. I assumed it was because he was a Master.
