My friend of mine found a great tactic while suing nades

we are both currently 4000 commando but it can be done with c12's

go to dath buffs/armor no mind buff needed

11400 missions giant baz nitches

all u have to do is throw the nades at the lair, it hits all nitches and they constantly spawn, i average about 300k fs xp in one run of buffs

if u use c12's c22's usually u can max 2 times in 1 buff session

*hints* stand inside the lair, also by hitting lair u dont waste the 500 xp on the combat u chose (i.e. tkm) so this measn u get a pure 5.5k of combat xp not 5k combat 500 tkm

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((===o===)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Goraths Most Wanted Sphyer Ado Its good to be back!!!!!!

Very nice post btw. You can also add to the list a little place in the south-eastern part of Endor. I cannot remember the name of the creatures, but they have a poi-stronghold. They look like litle Smigels and they gangpile anybody who goes near their area. They drop pretty easy for me as a TKM, and they give about 4k unarmed xp per creature. While I am waiting on them to respawn, I head out and about in that area to kill anything that moves.....normally I can find a few spider lairs that I can torture. The respawn seems to take about 30 minutes or so, and in a constant killing buff session, I can max my unarmedxp in the first hour, and get up to 300k in combat xp before all is said and done. These guys also drop a crystal every so often, so it isn't too shabby overall.

it took me a bout 3 hours to type. the hardest part was clerifying the methods, how to plan em out, and such. i type 60 wpm so the typing wasnt exactly hard, just planning it out. i have maps of each planet that were also contributed to this site (i cant remember the person who made em) but i thank you for them. ill give you credit once i figuire out your name. the endor map was down, otherwise i think id be able to location that poi you mentioned. ill check it out once the maps are back up.

if you guys want this stickied (as i do) keep this bad boy bumped and on top! i just was sent 2 new methods of grinding, one even for you med's out there! so expect those to be featured within the next day or so. if this gets large enough to span multiple pages, i dnno what im gonna do, since i never posted after the original post to reserve spots or anything like that.

I entered the quest system with 2 free branches, since grinded 3 branches (made Combat Prowess Master 2 daysago- GIVE US TITLE DEV's!) I have enough fs exp since to fill the first two boxes of Branch #6...need Phase 4 to start (lol).

I have to agree with much of what was suggested at the beginning of this thread...Im not uber either myself, but I technically cannot move thru the quest system any faster than I am due to Phase end/beginnings. SO...you do not have to be UBERGRINDER to get earn 6 full FS branches in the Reflex & Combat Trees...in fact being a"OMGWTFBBQ-GRINDER" gets you nowhere but tired and more impatient...and here is how I do it:

I am a master pistoleer & master fencer defense stacker...not a rifleman, tk, swordsman, etc. and Im ahead of the game practically every Phase shift b/c I pace myself.

I get buffed, get in a solo (10+...or dont bother), head to a favorite quiet improved economy PA on Dantooine (not Dath, yes Dant), and do nothing but take two missions-both in the same direction and BOTH under 1000m away from the terminal. I only take savage quenkers, hurton stalkers, and/or pikets (any kind, they ALL deserve it!!! LOL, diepiketdie!) - lvl 99+, no exceptions.

I dont do Dathomir b/c the extra time I have to spend taking missions from the Trade Outpost or scouring well known hunting grounds DO NOT move quicker than me working easy/convenient/manageable Dantooine. The method I have employed has worked much faster for me and its convenient and organized...VERY organized.

I cap fencer in 45min using a COB macro, 5 pieces of comp, brandy (& migrated mind) & TONS of powerups, justarea attacking lairs. Then I switch up to pistols and that takes longer b/c I dont have bh and/or smugg pistol lines...usually 1.5 hrs to cap.

So lets do the math on why you dont have to be UBER to do grind the quest system and match its shifting...

- 2 combat professions capped = 1.8m weapons (60k FS) & 180k combat (60k FS) = 120,000 FS Exp pts.

- 1.225m FS Exp pts. required to complete a branch....120k FSExp. pts. earnedper buff set or simply per day of game play

- 10.5 days of 120k FS Exp. earning

- 21 days in a FS Quest Phase

Hell, a majority of the phase you can do whatever you want or get ahead if you wish. Plan your work...work your plan, a double cap on Dantooine for me, and then I take my new Soro Suub and jump to the meridian system and Im there on Dath again (to take a #2 - FS Dump..lol, friends and I call it that) or just take the shuttles.

This is just one way and it works, I hope some/part of this was helpful to all of you & TY for reading/replying!!!

very true gildrian. im a casual grinder. with a long term gf, and me starting a job, im lucky if i make it in more then a buff session a day (excet weekends. when my crew isnt playing cs, i play swg alot at night on weekends) i dont like the uber grind becuase its boring, althought it does allow me to do other things like read forums, chat with people, stuff like that. (the nade one does atleast)

i also agree that massive grinding isnt required in order to gain enough xp for the branches on time. for a moderatly casual grinder, 3 weeks should be enough time go get xp for one branch. the "uber" grinding methods like these i only do when i sense im late on getting the xp required, so i go do em to try to make up for lost days of grinding (i have alot to make up for this round, i only have 450k fs xp saved in reflexes and like 350k in prowess) i normally just continue with my daily routine. nightsisters, or mokks, or whatever, and deposite what xp i earned at the end of the day for good measure.

just updated with a NICE sounding med grinding strat! enjoy. also a reminder that grouping with a pet can give you an xp bonus similar to a solo group.

you said...

>> "if you have but one professions to master, throw 2 or more complete stacks of nades (10 throws for 2 stacks) then continue as with the 2 previous methods. What this does, is since your combat xp is rewarded in regards to your weapons xp (and since all grenade damage is given as raw combat xp) this tricks the system so to speek. doing this for every lair, and by the time you have your 1, 2, or 3 professions capped, your combat will be capped as well (or nearly capped) as opposed to only having 90k for 1 profession, 180k for 2 professions, and 270k for 3. This one takes some practice, becuase you have to fine tune it to your dedication and own taste. some people may like more combat xp in there lairs, in so, just up the amount of nades you use. if your nearing your weapons xp cap and arent close to capping combat xp, remember to throw in a few extra nade tosses next time."

So, being that I'm just a master pikeman, does this scenario work for me? I guess I'm a little confused on how to accomplish this. Especiall the "then continue as with the 2 previous methods"
